@@barjhealy It's something you are really good at . I stripped a seagull 40 Villiers carb today following your video. All went well . Old no 3 needle. Had to tease the needle spring out using a wood screw and it worked. I usually restore full size trains from 1920 so working on something smaller is a pleasure.

what is the purpose of 'Screw "A"'? does it need to be adjusted in any way?

I wouldn't touch it. Adjust the needle up or down if needed

Does it use more fuel or about the same 10-1 or 25-1?
