This is very helpful! I am new to seeds- are there any that should not be stored in the freezer?

But did you plant them & actually GROW the popcorn plants…right up to harvesting the corn crop and feeding the leaves, stalks etc to your goats?

My wife does not believe it is the same taste, if you let it ripen on the plant. When I was growing up, my father always taken the tomatoes off the plant and put them on a windowsill

Omg!!! This is my first year gardening and I’m growing Cherokee purple and am having this problem with my tomatoes that get rain. I have two plants in a 20 gallon grow bag out in the open and every one of them is doing this at half this size. However the ones I have in the same size that are on my patio (get pretty much the same Sun but are out of the rain) are perfect! THANK YOU FOR THIS INFO! I didn’t know if it was a pest, fungus, fertilizer issue or what lol but

I didn’t do this. I sprinkled on potting soil then watered it. Put it in a sunny window and there were sprouts the next day. I sprinkle a little water on top every day. Not a full watering, just a little spray to keep it moist. They’re thriving so far.

Thanks for taking the time to produce this video! Very informative. I am first year in Northern Minnesota trying to start making my yard into a prairie! Just getting purple cone this year after planting in 2021. I'm very excited to start harvesting and growing the purple cone in other areas of my yard. Thanks again!😊❤

Seed companies created BT field corn and sweetcorn. The corn plant produces BT in order to kill rootworms and corn borers. Wouldn't it be interesting if they did this with garden plants.🤔

A few of mine, about 2” tall, have this. All of them have purple stems even one I purchased to compare seeds vs posted store bought. The highest of temperature here is 20 degrees & yet I still didn’t place them in full sunlight for the allocated time. I also remember my dad made a hill do the bottom leaves don’t touch the earth therefore I did as well. Glad I found your video to put me at ease compared to others who said spray this or add nitrogen etc. Next year I will be even slower at regulating. Thanks so much.

Thank you for the briefing about herbicides. I dare say, it's similar in the UK here and may be why so many insects are disappearing.

Hello! Wondering if you can clarify about the Bt product you use, adding water and your comment about it only being active for a period of time once the water is added. How is that different from the ubiquitous Captain Jack Bt spray which is, evidently, dissolved in 'other ingredients' that are similarly liquid. It is making me wonder about the potency of any Bt product over time....

I started growing creeping thyme seeds and at first they looked like thyme seeds, but now they look more like weeds. The leaves aren't small like your 2 pots, but do resemble the leaves of some of the plants in the 3rd pot that are bigger. Is that thyme or weeds?
@kitgenz11146 ай бұрын
It probably IS thyme but not a creeping thyme. I am convinced that growers don't know what thyme they are selling. I purchased a plant from a nursery that was marked as Lemon Thyme "Silver Queen" and it is supposed to get 9" to 1' tall with pink flowers. But what is growing is 3" tall with white flowers.

Where do you inject? Each stem? At the very bottom where the stems come out? It is hard to tell where to inject on my small phone screen.
@schristiansen31516 ай бұрын
This according to Home Handyman Magazine: Ant Killing Myth No. 1: Cornmeal Contrary to popular belief, cornmeal does not kill ants nor make them explode. In fact, ants LOVE cornmeal, so spreading it around the house is an open dinner invitation. But they also had an article yesterday claiming WD-40 was a wonderful lubricant 🤣 and your video definitely shows good results.

I hope I am, planning to at the least 😆😅 I've not been active in probably two years now, KZbin had taken quite the backseat in life and I do miss making videos. Unfortunately I had quite a struggle with my health and have finally arrived in an OK place I think 😊 I'm trying to figure out where to start! I hope all is well in your garden this year!

This video was SOOO WELL MADE!! I’ve been heading in this direction of injecting my plants, and have already been spraying BT and ordered the syringes but I still had questions about the actual process of where on the plant to focus the application!! You literally answered all of my questions as if we were having a conversation! I can’t thank you enough!! Instant subscriber!!
