A good review as Instagram is flooding this in its advertising. I am tempted but after your review I may bide my team

Did you manage to critique the studies as to find out if they were sponsored, who carried them out and what’s their qualifications, how many subjects they had, was RCT used, and others points? From what I read in the reviews, the device is not accurate. Therefore, it wouldn’t make any sense to buy this if you can’t trust its readings.

A good vo2 max test that i do once per month is the ekblom-bak. Its very simple, and only takes 8 minutes. It is on ergometer bike or watt bike, and is submax.

What do those accuracy numbers actually mean ( 0.45 +/- 7.75 mmHg and 0.36 +/- 6.86 mmHg)
@9to5strength
@9to5strength 12 күн бұрын
0.45 and 0.36 are the differences between Aktiia's average reading and the reference measurement, meaning across many readings it's really close. The +/- is the variability AKA standard deviation, meaning how much higher or lower the readings can be. If it's +/- 7.75 it doesn't mean that it will never be more than 7.75 different from the reference measurement, one standard deviation actually represents 68% of values, so a single reading could easily be out by more than 7.75, which is why it relies so much on averaging across 2 hour windows or entire days.

Have you seen any studies about speed of walking with a load or even comparing ages of walking and speed? I am using a weight vest though.
@9to5strength
@9to5strength 12 күн бұрын
Not that I can remember, it's usually either walking speed that's the variable or amount of weight. There is a study looking at the relationship between walking speed and mortality, though that isn't loaded www.bmj.com/bmj/section-pdf/187406?path=/bmj/343/7837/Death_s_Dominion.full.pdf

The keto diet is incredibly harmful to your health and should only be practiced by people with certain types of epilepsy. FYI you only lose weight quickly on low carb diets because you are depleting your glycogen stores, meaning you are dehydrating yourself. The ratios of 45% fat, 45% carbs, and 10% protein with about 700-800 calories per day for 3-7 days, every few months, has been clinically proven to give excellent results in autophagy, reducing visceral fat, and preventing cancer.

Hi, i want to suggest you that i look your face and i see a torsion on the mandibule,and this often lead to great scalp tension , i think your dht is increase in your topical scalp because of lack of oxygene do to less bloodflow ,I recommand that 1fix your torsion 2do scalp massage for tension of muscle ,bone and sscalp,3 do massage for fibrosis to remove calcification,or do dermaroller,but the priorities is torssion and scalp tension,i'm not an expert I just teach something I learn

Hmm looks like it's mainly marketed to help with absorption of oils rather than being effective on its own, though blood flow to the scalp is a key part of regrowing hair. Some of the claims on the website do look very dubious.

I saw a recent video from a biohack expert who said grounding using a wall outlet actually causes more damage than benefit because there's still static interference and he did this by showing a test the true way to do grounding in the home is to use an outdoor Rod run a wire into your house and then connect it to whatever device you have

I've been doing inversion table for 15 minutes per day for a few years and it's made a big difference for me. Peppermint oil with Jojoba carrier. Lazy scalp massage in shower. I'm 59 so it's def harder for me, but I ditched the hat and I keep getting new growth little by little. I'm currently just doing 15 minutes per day, no oils. Doing deep scalp massage while on inversion table. Seems like I'm getting a better trajectory of growth. I feel my scalp has been very tight with fibrosis and my loss issue has been blood flow related. I have bad circulation in my hands too with Reynauds Syndrome. Bottom line, no more loss, and keep getting new growth. Wish it was faster, but it's going in right direction.

Even at the ripe old age of 48, I still love running/hiking with weight. Around 20-25kg is right for me when doing 6-miles over undulating ground at 11 mins/mile pace. Back in the late 90s when at CTC Royal Marines, the later stages of training would regularly involved yomps (rucking) with loads of quite easily 55kg+ for periods of 10 hrs or more!

Guys need to just worry about eating high quality meat while keeping insulin low. These will help regulate DHTs ability to bind to follicles and keep inflammation low in your body thus helping blood flow to follicle. All these oils are just side noise and dont address the real issue.

if you closely observe there is no significant new hair on your head only differences length of the hair varies slightly..... Rosemary is a natural product so I don't believe that you would get a significant hair ... in your study it is shown that hair growth is only because of minoxidil why didn't they use Rosemary alone..... there was a study by using Rosemary oil but finally they stop the studies of after one year there is no hair improvement..... like someone said you and backwards are there is no new hair on your head

do you do any scalp massaging? Also, what length are the needles and how many of them on the roller? If you're having diffuse hear thinning, you might be having alopecia areata incognita, that might have gone under the radar. They say that ketonazole shampoo works for that, there is a recent video in the KZbin channel Perfect Hair Health with a similar case.

I've used Ketoconazole shampoo in the past and one of my very first experiments was scalp massage, which improved thickness but still left me receding at the temples. The dermaroller is 1mm and my dermapen was set to 1.25mm.

Don't waste your time with Rosemary oil. I too spent 6 months and lost more hair than I started with, and it also burns the scalp and hair follicles I applied well around the temples and it burned the hair off with just one diluted drop, and took 3 months to grow back. Just get minoxidil and finasteride, which are scientifically proven to work in multiple studies, and not just one poor study
