How do we fix the top part. Our motor is doin the same thing
@bgilgall8 ай бұрын
The bushing that you wanted to re-use is completely shot. It's supposed to be attached to the upper housing and not loose on the top of the shock.

The wheel nuts (or at lease some of them) are after-market.

You just run 90 weight in it. It will have less wobble. Heavier oil works fine. And only one bolt missing out of so many will be fine. Like eighteen wheeler one wheel missing don’t matter.? That’s so you can repair one . And keep trucking.! 😮

Good video you get right to it without making it look difficult. It was very helpful. Thanks.

When installing the brush end cap use a piece of cardboard with a slot cut in it to hold the brushed down when assenbling and then remove it when you are just befor pushing it all the way up
@michaelflannery6457 Жыл бұрын
Those grind marks a but in the armature by the factory to balance the armature and is not a problem also you need to remove the bendix to verify that the shaft is damaged if not just replace bendix as far as the bruhs holder being melted you can also replace that also along with the brushes
@davidavalos9179 Жыл бұрын
The check valve is the clear plastic disc. You are not supposed to install the old rubber disc at all. You should discard it and replace it with the new plastic check valve. The rebuild kit doesn't even include the rubber check valve.

I know it was a few years but how did you figure out the position for that shift rod going down? I just pulled mine and of coarse pulled the shift rod up so don’t know what position it went. Thank you

Did you end up rebuilding it or you pass it off to somebody??

Bore it out .30 at a machine shop. Put .30 over Wisco pistons and rings back in it. Get a set fiberglass red valves and install them on the crankshaft. Have about 3 lb. Shaved of the flywheel and block of the small carburetor connector lines on the right side of the carburetors. Change the timing belt to a Cevler belt to help with the lighter flywheel. Put new bearings on the rods and crank. Make sure that your timing is good or you will get to build it all over again. Good luck!

What is the line that you unscrewed? I know the other two lines are in and out... What is the third with the elbow? I have the same pump n fuel flows freely out of that elbow into the engine and floods.. should It be a check valve?.. thank you
@twistedjigco.5483 жыл бұрын
I just rebuilt mine and that 90 degree fitting/hose goes to the motor just above the pump on my 1991 merc 90hp and is a breather/ pressure valve of some sort. If gas is coming out of it then the diaphragms of your pump are probably bad. It’s worth re building for 20$ kit.

Thanks for the videos. I have a 1996 120 force mercury outboard as well. I was looking at your starter replacement videos. Do you have a link or a model/ part number that you used to get that newer aftermarket starter? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi thanks for the video Is possible to remove the intake without removing the whole motor?
@ash79904 жыл бұрын
Your not letting it crank for very long. Couple of major issues on these can cause difficult starting. First is timing chain/tensioner failing. Second is nikasil liner coating wearing causing low compression.
@mikespindor4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for making this video. I am having an issue with my starter as well. The bendex is intermittenly moving upwards to engage the flywheel. It spins fast when I hit the starter but just doesn't always move upward. I will try and take off those two bolts at the top of it and see if the spring needs some lubrication.

I think its not a hybrid pineaple plant. I got many of those in my yard and in my village. Its a wild type. We use it as a medicine to treat kidney stone. Juat cut it as normal pineaple and cut into cubes and blender it with some water. Then just drink it once in two week.

Flooded ! Take out fuse under the relays by the battery, stop sending fuel to engine, crank over until it attempts to start, 3or4 times, burn whatever fuel is in there , put fuse back in crank over without touching the throttle, if it still doesn't start, it's plug out dried wiped, put a Smeg of oil in each pot seals for better compression, plugs back in, hey presto ! Good luck !

nepenthes dont close lids , the bugs that fall inside are trapped as the inner surface is hairy smooth and slippery for them to come out. and they die and body parts are disintegrated by bacteria in it. please do not share unverified info, beautiful plants and a lovely garden you've got there. happy gardening.

You need to hold the bolt with an additional wrench or tool so that it doesn't spin in the direction the nut tightens
