This is a good video, top notch. ;D Just one thing is honestly weird - the girl was on your thumbnail AND appeared in the video the whole time - but you didn't even say "I'm here with XXX". Even with a nickname it would be OK. But not introducing her at all was just weird honestly, felt, dehumanizing or something. Yes it's the 1st vid I saw on your channel.

It's such a hard questions because there are so many variables, but I would say 100,000 baht per month as a general baseline. Could be less, could be more.

As far as renting don’t use websites. They are full of scammers, fake listings and agents using bait and switch tactics. You must go to the juristic office. This video clearly is promoting certain agents. Everyone I’ve spoken to has advised to go direct to the condo juristic office. They will have an agent that they work with who you know can be trusted. This video is spreading false information. DDproperty is total scam. The units are all way underpriced to lure people in. They have many condos on there for THB6000. Ridiculously low and fake listings

No, DDproperty is not a "scam" and no, this video is not promoting certain agents. I think we were pretty fair in explaining different options, and the pros and cons of each. Just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean everyone else will.

As I mentioned, you can TRY to do that, but often times the office just won't show you the room and will instead refer you to an agent. I've been here 5 years and have done it every way...

Sometimes the airlines ask for it, sometimes they don't (for example I was never asked on my last flight to Thailand). Also, things were a lot more relaxed back in 2019

I found the unit on list DDproperty.com. When I did the walkthrough, I just chatted with the owner. Not only was it empty for several months, I was literally the first tenant ever in this room. There was still plastic wrap on some of the appliances.

Living in this area, you can definitely can speak 100% english and zero Thai and be just fine. That being said, I've slowly integrated Thai into my daily routine over time, and I think it's a better experience when you can communicate on a more direct level with locals :)
