how many days per week should we be doing this exercise, as i'm also doing the double chin & goodbye eyebags one exercise right after the other, as I started 4 days ago & have been doing mouth corners,double chin &? eyebags back to back everyday, should I be doing it every other day or is every day ok

Depending on the extent of the problems, you might need to do it daily if the ageing in those areas is advanced 🙏🏻 or you can apply for a personal program consultation which will include all exercises in one handy video specific to your face concerns 🌸💆‍♀

Hi Polina, when doing exercises where you lift your eyebrows a little, I create forehead wrinkles. Is there perhaps a replacement for this? Love Jolanda❤

It's really too early to do any face yoga at 15, your face bones and muscles are still growing ! So please wait for a bit before starting 🙏🏻🌷

How come you haven’t got any lines or wrinkles that I can see - I do facial yoga but you still get expression lines and a bit of jowling?

I'm lucky not to have developed jowls and too many expression lines as I'm now always careful with my face posture, and become aware as soon as I'm tensing the muscles !😅 when performing face yoga exercises I do get lines, but always try to smooth any lines out with my fingers so as not to crease the skin. Plus my recent sleep investment is Omnia Sleep&glow pillow which is great and prevents excessive sleep creases 😍

Engaging the cheek muscles is not the same as smiling, it feels much more controlled and intentional. Try and think of the exercise in terms of cheek muscles pulling up as opposed to "I'm smiling' - there should be a burn sensation in the cheek muscles when you've engaged them and holding them in engaged position 🌸💆‍♀

It could be a genetic feature yes, but mostly it's about lifestyle, nutrition and sleep, so make sure you're getting plenty of rest and hydration, and your body's lymphatic system is not storing water around the face and the eye area, a gentle lymphatic massage with a jade roller or your hands can be beneficial 🌸💆‍♀

It can be either your favourite oil or eye cream, whatever is your preference as long as the skin around the eyes is not dry while you're exercising the muscles 💆‍♀🌸

Polina, thanks for those exercise and your work. Whit this exercise I don't feel my mussles working. Why? Especially the first exercise under the eyes, but most of them :(

Hi Maria, thank you for your feedback and for watching my video! The reason you’re not feeling the exercises could be down to not enegaging the muscles enough and/or not connecting to them mentally as well as physically. Another reason could be simply weakness in the muscles (I don’t know how long you’ve been practising). With all of the exercises in this video, muscles should feel contraction and a little burn even (esp on the first one with the high cheek lifting -note this is not about the eye muscles!). My advice is to work with the mirror, and visualise the muscles working on each exercise - not dissimilar to feeling the muscles working in a Pilates/yoga class. Hope this helps! 💆‍♀🌸
