Hi Falcon, thanks for the great info in your vids. I agree 1300kv is about right for 6s voltage on 7". Have you tried the recent craze of larger builds like8 or 10"? If so what are your thoughts vs 7"?

Do you happen to have a configuration for a 6s2p or a 6s3p pack? I've built a few 1p packs but I'd like to build at least a 6s2p with the Molicel P45B cells for my Helion 10

Apart from going to max power when I hit GPS rescue, I’ve also added to a different 3 position switch so I can go low/mid/max power without the need to go in GPS rescue mode. Pretty neat feature

I love the Falcon. I made a mistake and put the tmotor 3008 1500kv and am going to use the tmotor 2808 1300kv. Super fast with the 3008 but flight time was 4mins with a 3300 lipo.
@FalconRadFPV10 күн бұрын
I've got 3008 1500kv on my Falcon RPM, I use a 7000mAh HV and get about 13 to 15 min depending on how I fly. On my 3000mAh lipo I got about 6 or 7 minutes when flying a smaller mountain. Possibly an older lipo you're using?

An inspiring adventure! Love these vlogs! Glad you're safe! I was just wondering what hd cam you're using in this video? Since you was so "happy" to loose your gopro hero 11 mini last time lol.. ;) I´m a bit on the fence.. I am coming from Hero 8 basically, both a "naked" one and a full size. Can´t get a Hero 10 Bones sadly. So i´m considering Hero 11 mini or a naked hero 11 or 12(flywoo perhaps, but very pricey). Don't like the weight of the full size hero 11 or 12 though.. What would be your "two cents" on this luxury trilemma? Cheers!

Thank you so much for the video! I'm about to build a 7" quad for long range and I feel frustrated about what battery to choose. Do you think its better to use 21700 or 18650 packs? I dont want high speed, I want to fly for as much time as I can. Thanks for your valuable information

Hello. I just made my first 6s1p 21700 battery and I wanted some guidance on how to charge it. Should I charge it like a LiPo to a maximum of 4.20V, or like a lithium battery to a maximum of 4.15V? Thanks.

Great flight! I really enjoy the informative dialog. Speaking of information, how do you connect your GPS with the FC you've listed? If you followT-mMotor's suggestion the compass/GPS and ESC will both be on UART 4.

Due to air flow, can I ask you to swap bottom and top. Top be bi-blade then bottom be tri-blade. Due to vortex of air, I would think doing opposite may be better. I may be wrong. Can you confirm?

Amazing test flight for sure! I know you are very experienced with flying all different battery types, but those Lipos, in my little experience, have such a sharp "end of voltage" drop that long range gets a bit scary. I just started this summer flying midrange with Li-ions and they last so long and drop voltage so gradually compared to Lipo's. Awesome video, man!

It made you fly differently. I've always liked the unique feel that my Hexplorer has, slow and efficient while having lots of grip. This octo of yours reminds me of that. Might even lower the camera a little to get more of the terrain for that slower flight style.
