$0.95 CRAZY 3rd class train from Kandy 🇱🇰

Me and the British lad ‪@harryjaggardtravel‬ hop on board a $0.95 3rd class train from Kandy to Nanuoya which is the station closest to Nuwara Eliya. This ride was not as easy as we expected to get a first class ticket so we ended up purchasing a third class and had a lot of fun. It was very crowded, but we got to meet a lot of awesome locals while we were on the 4 hour ride.

Harry should be proud of this railway track. It was planned by his British forefathers and built by locals. It is a very historical track made the British to transport tea to Colombo.

If I knew about your channel earlier and the trip to ella, I would definitely give a try to make you go in the train engine. That’s not possible for everyone to go but the sight from the train engine is worthy. This is the most beautiful route ever❤️ hope you enjoyed.

21:17, he said "digaa", which basically means "very tall/lanky guy" and "sudu malli" which means "fair little brother". People use those as pet names, so that's why they were laughing (because it would be a bit weird if a stranger calls you by those names). The guy with the injured hand did look tall and fair, so those names make sense!

"Ayubowan" may be instead of "Machan" to an officer in train or ticket counter. Your videos are great 👍 but I am wondering about the "Machan" part. It's a colloquial or casual way of talking to a known friend, so normally you won't use it when talking to an officer, elder or stranger and person who you don't know yet. Would be great to address freely with "Ayubowan" 🙏

22:52 - you should have just asked the guys standing at the door if you could have a go because I don't think they realised you were waiting to take pictures/videos. This is just a normal train for locals, and locals would rather sit down than stand at the door, so they probably didn't think they're holding others up. And some probably don't even know that people come from all over the world just to take pictures/videos standing at the door in their humble train!
