What happened is the window is down. ? Do I need to bring it up and taped and continue with your or just lie Ave it and try to install. Thank you.

The window would not roll up or down, but its better to replace the motor while the window is up, i used tape to hold the window up, just incase it fell down from the rail, more than likely you dont have to use tape, but as a pre-caution, i think you should.
