Per my comment above. After riding for over 40 years i agree 100%. I always say you have to be ready for anyone to do anything at any time. I tell young riders that 5% of riding a motorcycle is gas, brakes, going around corners etc. 95% is mental and learning how to live on one. If a situation comes up and you have to think, its already too late. You have to be ready for anything at all times. If you have to think you lose that split second or full second that could have made all the difference in the world. God Bless and stay safe.

In my state concrete truck drivers roll through stop signs a lot, especially on country roads causing many accidents daily, always in the news! Quite sure fully loaded it is a drag to fully stop and start up again at stop signs but this is the reason to drive careful not careless. Now one killed in horrific manor and the other may end up in prison for it. All so unnessary! Absolutely disgusting way to go. So wrong!

It didn't say or I missed it was the truck driver injured badly? Idk why some truck drivers ignore stop signs. I've witnessed this so many times. If he survived now he has to pay greatly just because he felt he didn't need to stop. I'm so sorry for the victims family. 😢

I've seen exactly this type of accident IRL. The only difference was the one I saw involved 2 occupants in the car instead of 1, same outcome. I think it was even the same make and model of car, just an earlier year. That one was flat as a pancake - not one part of the car was higher than 6 inches off the ground when all was done. I've never seen anything like that prior; thankfully, I've never seen anything like it since, excepting this video.

I would say he thought the truck could go in front of car changed his mind to go behind the car then the faithful mistake was changing his mind again to go in front of the car. My heartfelt sympathy to the victim's family and friends 🙏. 💔. I believe it was known the truck driver failed to stop. I bet he couldn't control the truck when he tried to stop and rolled the truck. I would think drug and alcohol testing is part of the investigation, but he is probably facing charges and I wouldn't doubt it serious charges, even if brakes defective. My advice to the family would then be to file civil charges.

That Mixer truck had to be speeding, to leave the swerve marks he did, and to get it to roll like that. I know the load makes it easier to do, having been a truck driver myself? But those are SHARP turns, and it appears he began doing it, back quite a ways. I wish you'd of turned your camera just a bit to the left, @5:10, but even w/o doing that? It appears as if the driver of the car should have had a clear view, of what was coming straight at him- unless he was otherwise pre-occupied. Just guesswork here of course- but a speeding truck, who appears to have not had his headlights on, to me, would make the only sense, as to how this driver didn't see him coming. Pretty bad, all around.

I was with a major Corporation in North Texas. We had dispatched a concrete truck for a small pour to finish up a small job. I was reluctant to issue the order being a Friday and it was about 2:30 and the plant was fixing to shut down. Others were pushing me for the pour and I finally relented, "well, this goes against my better judgement, go ahead and run the load". About 30 minutes I hear radio traffic from our truck driver to base who asked for security officers to the corner of such and such. Security officers was code for cops and I knew there had to be trouble. As I descended a small hill to this intersection I saw massive black concrete truck tire tracks where the driver locked them up to little effect as the truck rolled right through the front of a Ford Pinto struck broadside with two young girls inside that had run the stop sign. The two girls were terrified but OK. The Pinto was struck just forward of the firewall. A split second later would have placed them inside the front bumper of the truck. The cops cited the driver for running the stop sign. I gave the girls my phone to call home for a ride, our truck driver was still shaking when talking to the officer, and I had to go back to the office to explain this near calamity to my boss. I remember this every time I am pushed to do something I don't want to do` I thank God everyone survived.
