This is a great presentation but the Federal nature may still deprive the Republic of Southern Cameroons of its rights and ownership and exploitation of its resources. We have seen this happen over the years with our resources. Oil from the Republic of Southern Cameroons has developed parts of the other Republic to the total detriment and deprivation of the Republic of Southern Cameroons, So what next ? There should be a door for a Willing Departure.

Well researched and spelt out, But ,in as much as the theory behind the gaining of Independence of the nation/state of the British Southern Cameroons, by joining with the already independent nation/state of La Republique du Cameroun is concerned,all went on well until,the UN and Britain especially, immediately totally abandoned the just Independent British Southern Cameroons so joined,in the newly created Federal Republic of Cameroon in 1961,without, overseeing to it in anyway that ,a former trust and mandated territory respectively, that had been under the United Kingdom tutelage ,for more than 40years,be overseen in the preliminary stages of independence ,gained by joining another independent state ,of a purely diifferent colonial heritage culture and language,and still under the strict guidance of her titular colonial power,France. The UK governmemt should bear the blame for the situation in Anglophone Cameroon today,and can make amends, by coming in now, to seek a solution to a grievous problem which directly resulted from their totally abandoning the territory and people of the British Southern Cameroons ,to the whims and caprices of the newly Independent La Republique du Cameroun and France on the 1st of October 1961,immediately they lowered the flag of the Union Jack from the soil of the British Southern Cameroons.What did they expect France and LRC to do with the new strange territory addedd to them then,unconditionally ,than to assimilate itat all cost?
