Surviving an accident like this is life altering! Thank god those babies survived! Will never forget when I was driving my old GMC Jimmy and was clipped from the back driver side by a semi while in the rain. Spun my suv 3xs and was hit again by the same semi on my driver door. My immediate reaction when first clipped was to slam brakes not realising on a wet road it would send me spinning. After spin 3 I took my foot off the brake and then coasted backwards across 3 lanes of interstate and into the grass median. I was also 3 months pregnant. No one was hurt and baby was perfectly fine 🙏🏻 God was with me that night!! He kept any other cars from hitting me when I coasted backwards and kept my vehicle from rolling. In the end I now have PTSD and will not drive on interstates, at night, or in the rain. The semi was a Walmart truck and they ended up contacting me to settle out of court. They knew that driver screwed up!

I'm so glad that you were ok and still carried your baby safely! I totaled my car over a year ago one night going grocery shopping and I haven't driven much since then,,,don't know if I ever will...I'm already 65. God bless you sweetie. 🙏🙏

Helicopter is only called out when there's serious injury. I was in a horrific car accident my van was on fire and I had to be cut out of my van while fire dept kept the fire down. I was then Life stared helicopter to the hospital. I had a Broken neck, broken knee on left leg and broken leg on the right with severed foot was almost completely cut off, crushed ankle I was in bad shape had multiple surgeries and bed ridden for almost a year but I'm alive and doing well now. It was a very scary and extremely painful ordeal. Still have bad PTSD but I guess that's to be expected after having severe injuries trapped in the van choking on smoke that was so thick I couldn't breath or see very well. I was praying the van didn't blow up or go up in flames while I was still trapped. It took some time to cut my out of the van, it was a pile of twist metal around me trapping me in the van it was so mangled you couldnt tell it was a van. I still have dreams of being trapped while in a fire. I have to say fire and rescue where the best. They are my Heros they saved my life that day. Along with 2 retired military medics that happened to be driving by they stop to help. I was lucky they had a fire extinguisher to keep the fire down till help arrived. I had many Heros that day and God was with me the whole time...

Sorry, but I've owned two of those vehicles and never flipped one......The "problem" is that people in Houston drive like idiots- I have personally witnessed idiots driving on the Hardy and other toll roads as well as the major freeways at speeds of 80, 90, even 100 mph, IN TRAFFIC, weaving in and out of lanes, which is EXACTLY what caused the accident recorded here....SO don't go slamming a vehicle as the "cause" when the real cause is unthinking, stupid a-holes who think they are "more important" than everyone else on the highway....

Coming home from a baseball game a 4seater Karmann Ghia passed by going at least 80 in moderate traffic. Upcoming was a merge of two freeways, both with stadium traffic. Our fwy goes from 8 to 4 lanes. The ghia lost control and spun all the way over from 1 to 4 , bounced off the divider and spun back across to the emergency lane without hitting anyone. All these drunk girls got out crying, there were so many it looked like a clown car. They had that car way overloaded and add alcohol to the mix- very lucky idiots. 😡

Seat belts, people ! Side curtain air bags aren’t nearly powerful enough to keep your heavy body from flying out the side windows. They’re designed to cushion your head and shoulders ONLY, from striking the window while your torso is belted in.

Medics should have a camera on scene transmitting real time information to the trauma center. Actually seeing the damaged vehicles would be helpful I think in assessing degree of injury.

It wasn't god telling me to run into a burning building or jump off a bridge to save a life. I made those decisions to help others. I've risk my life for others many times as a volunteer never asking for a thing in return. If it wasn't for people like me are you telling me your God is going to come save them? Next time you need rescue don't call just pray to God and see how well that works out for you idiot. To be clear. I don't know if there is or isn't. What I do know is God isn't the reason people are saved by rescue workers and Doctors. I also know if he does exist the chances of christianity being correct isn't very good. You would have to believe all the religions before aren't true but somehow yours is with no more evidence then they have. Kinda hypocritical if you ask me.
