No one raised these problems faced in school. You are the first person to raise the issue I totally agree. I studied in government school, college and I became an Orthopaedic surgeon. I don't believe Highfy school.

I am a UNIFORM VENDOR and you have truely nailed out the nonsense happening in the name of uniform. School managmnet clearly ask for cut of 25% per uniform or a lumpsum yearly amount amount and vendor is left with no option but to lower down the quality and raise up the price. And school has zero concern for these things. On top of it school takes a high ground as they take this amount as donation towards social upliftment.

🤣🤣🤣 maza aa gaya…..I am retired school teacher and I have witnessed all these things happening first hand …. It’s a whopping business out there ….since I was very enthusiastic about my students progress I used to device novel ways to teach them very few had learning and grasping problems so I used to call them on Saturdays to discuss ways to help them deal with it ….on one side the principal madam reprimanded me that I was wasting my time on the other side I was boycotted by other teachers since parents were expecting them to be understanding and co operative like me …..finally I left ….I am better off giving tuitions and having very good rapport with my students and their parents ….I need your views on Home schooling …

My son studies in a good school ( fee per month is in 2 digits ) i dnt attend parent teacher meeting when there is no agenda and ask them to give me a call to discuss if there is anything imp, i have highlighted to them to keep a larger window for meeting in school if they want us to attend rather than giving a fixed time as we might be busy at that time. I never do any activity of my son, and teacher says me that he doesnt do any activity to which i respond to them that ask him the same que, mostly kids are not able to understand what they need to do and teachers also know that parents will do it. Fees bhi main du, activity bhi main karu or stress bhi main lu school ptm ka 😀 i have stopped doing this.

Absolutely bang on. All points are valid. I personally called the teacher and asked "why", when my daughter told me that she was not allowed to go to toilet and couldn't eat her tiffin because only 5 mins were allowed for that. I also faced the uniform selling issue by school. The cost of the shirt was 3 times higher than the market price. When I declined to pay the price, the shop owner (a lady) threatened me by saying "I will report this to the school and will see how your daughter gets admission".

1. Schools with no show offs should be opted with lesser fees. So that the same amount can be utilized in education after 12. 2. Our money is important why to waste in annual day where the child is even not getting the role which he desires. Better to go for a dance class or music class or any sports activity as per his likings in summer and winter break.

I moved to a developed western country and put my daughter in year -1 the local government school when her schooling started. Here government schools are as good as private if not better and are available at all localities and free of cost practically. They follow a common national syllabus. I did not see any homework till year 9. My daughter is not in year 10 and only now she is getting a limited home-work that too of what was taught at school at week and easily completed in 30 minutes just once or twice a week. Broadly here is what the teaching was on: Year-1 = learn to speak well. make friends. eat, toilet, play, talk to others. Year-2 = same. take turns. give others chance. make queue. look after your own things. PLay. Year -3, Year-4 = colours, animals, world, things, etc. also communication and team-work. Year 5, Year 6 = first time ABCD, 1234, etc starts!!!! no pressure at all. Year 7, Year 8, Year 9 -- progressively more Arithmetic, Reading and Writing Skills. PLus Teamwork. Respect for other people. COmmunication. Year 10 - first time algebra, geometry, basic science, etc etc.....She is really enjoying childhood and catching up on academics very well. In India we put too much pressure studying studying and studying since Year-1 and miss out entirely on the essential "character building" that they do here...........

Hats off to you Sir I studied in a private school . Felt like I was admitted in a remand home.May I go to toilet was epic. You have to ask for permission to attend nature's call. Never felt so suffocated in life. If you don't follow their absud rules ,the teachers try to bully the child . They don't understand what they are doing but it has long lasting impact on child's psychology. My parents were not educated. They took the pain to send us to the school just to feel embarrassed on PTM meeting. We are just money minting machines for them . What they don't understand is that they are dealing with a human being which is so naive that they cannot understand what is right and what is wrong .The child is filled with guilt undergoing all these.

Well done Mr. Sangwan. Each and every point raised by you is cent percent true. Citizens do not have an option most of the time because of a lack of government school. So they are trapped. This will definitely be a wonderful series for sure. Along with live sessions I suggest you interact with key people from different walks of life on different matters in the form of interviews and discussions. This will bring a new dimension to the channel which I predict is going to get popular by the day. I am From Kathmandu Nepal, and the same thing is going on here. Parents are paying Kalingpong & Darjeling schools extra(contributions) for their kids to get admitted there. I have 2 kids who go to a IB school in Kathmandu, and like you said everything is going on here. When covid lockdowns started and kids had online school that's when I found out that, this was just an average school in terms of teaching. Yes they do have nice playgrounds but they are never going to beat a regular school student in studies, creativity or sports

Very much true Sir , nowadays Science projects and crafts are sold in outside market and there is no contribution from majority of private school teachers .. sports and annual programs are just money making business not all students gets participated .. very much truth you told in this video .. Parents should acknowledge and exit from this rate race of getting certificates instead of real involvement as team work and real creativity

Respected Sir, each word you have said is true. We are parents in disguise. Infact I'm a teacher! Would like to bring to light that we are also harassed and forced at our workplace to do things which we don't want to. Teaching is one of the most noble profession. Management has made it money minting machine business. We have to suffer with less salary, more work pressure ( useless time wasting work) n unlimited stay back due to which our family suffers a lot. We can't spend relaxing time with our family which inturn is also affecting our health. We suffer from Anxiety, PCOD/PCOS, stress and many more personal problems. My colleagues also face problem, consider this as Voice of Teachers. Not everyone will speak because our household is also concern for us. Attrition rate is high of teachers due to which students suffer psychologically. I want you to make videos on pain of parents + teachers also which should be solution oriented too. Any support you require from my side will be happy to help sir. 🙏🙏

Sir, please make a video from Teachers perspective also.... It will make a bridge between two of ur videos- career for women and expectations from a daughter in law.... Today also getting a daughter in law , working as a teacher is preferred over the one who's working in corporate sector....but only teacher fraternity gets homework after their working hours, irrespective of working 6-7 hours in school.... there's no infrastructure, other facilities for those who are working in government sector....a school teacher wakes up early in the morning, expected to get back home to cook lunch n prepare dinner ,even at odd late hours if husband comes late.... Expectations are still similar from a teacher, which was there 20 years back, there is no change in mindset!!!

I was a teacher but during covid Lockdown I had to leave my job so that I could help my son (in class 3) do his online work. Since then I have been at home because the school work is increasing day by day and I find no time to do other things apart from completing his projects, holiday assignments, artwork etc. It's such a pain and sorrow which I feel after leaving my job. I really had to give up my passion just for useless stuff of school. These schools take a lot of money and simply waste student's time in making them compulsory to participate in school programs like Independence Day celebration, Janmashtami, Dussera, Republic Day Parade, Sports Day and the list goes on.

5 years back I joined as professor in a reputed private engineering institute. There I got the shock of my life to learn that they have PTM for engineering students. We had to call the parents if the attendance of their ward was below 80%. Even if a student’s attendance was 79% we would call the parents and the number of such students would be 40/45 in each section. Along with the students the professors were the one who would be under tremendous pressure for n number of extra work that we had to do, which had no relevance with teaching. salary was very basic, ultimately I resigned and started my own business earning much better and comparatively less stress.

Genuine content👍 and also I feel Govt should infact recognise online classes for kids as they are doing really well and their content is great and also saves time and parents can also monitor the child or even if the child misses the class they can see the replay and submit homework any time and teachers are great and interact well with children and parents as well and they also provide a mentor teacher for each child and the best part is fees are very minimal (like the Oda class).

Though I'm a school director myself, I agree with u. School owners today run amuck with absolute nonsensical and false huge egos and auras. They've acquired the skill of sounding sweet and polished but inside them is pure greed. The good teachers are left with no choice but to conform to this system.

You have taken valid points sir. I am from Hyderabad. My daughter is 9 years old she's in 4th class in a missionary school. She studies well from the beginning. Mujhe aisa thoughts Anne laga ki inko 6th class mean change her to some sainik school. I want to give her coaching for it. That too online .in our school yes they give project work but not like in corporate schools. Our school education is good. I am a home maker so I will leave her and bring her home b.coz our house is near to school. Till now no tution I make her to study at home. In holidays we go out to different holy places or some places to enjoy with her. Sometimes I worry is it enough for my future of my child .we have a single child so my attention will always on her studies. Thank you sir for doing such content videos make some more videos on education system.

Where are you based. I too was thinking the same for my daughter. She is 5 now. I was planning for army school after 5 years. But the situation of such schools for girls is poor in India. There is entrance exam and many girls are appearing for the exams. But the quality of infrastructure and teaching is not good.

In the comings days , intelligent parents will opt for home schooling with best teachers available on line or offline. The education is worth of 0.1 % to the fee paid but for some parents school is also a new show off and other low esteem people are carried away by the social pressure. Am already thinking of alternative education for my kids once they are done with primary education in so called school. My idea is to go for home school and let the kid more grow through self learning and observations ….thanks sir for talking on such a topic. Schools are rusting the present of parents and future of kids eventually leading India two steps backwards ….
