A State Trooper once told me that you’re most likely to be involved in a DUI head-on collision if you’re driving in the left hand, or “fast”, lane. This is because drunks think they’re driving in their right hand, or “slow”, lane because it doesn’t register they’re going the wrong way.
@SKC1934 жыл бұрын

Here's the deal with what Scott Engle was asking the awesome Trooper, SGT. Burse. Yes, I, like most, love this cop. His non-nonsense, but compassionate way, should be the standard for all cops, imho. Now, about the "deal". Apparently, this stretch of road, and the freeway on-ramp, have become a death trap. And Trooper Burse was 100% correct, this is ridiculous. Here is the other accident, that had just occurred, 2 days before, a double fatal. See, there is this bar.... it's just down the road. I've no doubt that this will be tied to there, are well. Oh, and before that one? Another, with a single fatal, a few days or a week before. I couldn't find that one. But here's the one 2 days before, along with my comments about it. ============================================================================================================== Decided to post this update I found: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5XGpaWJn7xpe9k Something is seriously wrong with this stretch of roadway, and MUST be corrected. There are far too many fatal's here. Just 2 day's after this accident? A triple fatal, with another "wrong way" driver. Same bar? Who knows. And, as you heard this DA say, there was another fatal just days before this one. Someone has got to ask WTF. (ps, this is Scott Engle's original video, for the accident with the double fatal. the first video, is for informational purposes, only).

I have driven 45 for miles and don't relax until I'm away from these areas. They are so confusing with oncoming/off going lanes lined with orange barrels everywhere. Then, there is the CONSTANT construction on those lanes, adding more because of Houston traffic. The whole scenario can look different week to week! It really is no man's land.

+scaledirtslinger Sometimes that's done to release tensions set up in the vehicle shell by the crash which might otherwise release in uncontrolled ways when the vehicles are being recovered and cause further injuries or worse. It may also be done to help recover items from within the car that may be evidence in the investigation...
@TwoBySevenLeo6 жыл бұрын
Could also have been due to editing, maybe? At the beginning of the video, the cars are apart, but later in the video the cars were locked together in what I guess was crash position? I could be wrong, but that's kind of what it looks like to me....

Sounds like it could've been suicide. Which includes, hard illegal drugs, Rx drugs and alcohol. 37,000 to over 40,000 men women and children die in motor vehicle crashes every year.
