09-14 Subaru WRX Pedal Assembly - Part Feature

About a year after the new GR WRX was introduced in 2008, an unusual issue came up with the pedal box. On some of the early 2008 and 2009 Manual Transmission cars, people started noticing creaking noises when they were pushing in the clutch or brake pedal.
There was a bulletin at the time from Subaru, and there have been a few different ways to try to fix or prevent this issue from happening on those early cars.
Lately, we have had a lot of people asking for the 09-14 WRX Pedal Assembly, so we decided to take a look at how it comes, and what is included as a Parts Feature.

ITS pedal brace, clutch and brake master cylinder braces, humble rumble firewall repair kit. Should be in every GR/GV. Pushing 150k miles in my 2014 and the pedals are starting to get squeaky....

If you have a super low mileage 2013 STi SE woukd this pedal box upgrade avoid the failure points and cracking if upgraded early enough?

Thanks for your question. By 2013, Subaru seemed to have this issue corrected. It really was mostly on the 08-09 WRX. I would not expect that your car would have this issue. Hope that helps and Stay Tuned!
