Well, this is a very timely upload. I'm in the postdrome stage of what I'm quite sure was a migraine that started on Sunday last week. I never get any aura. I'm still fairly dizzy (unsteady on my feet at times) and my concentration, which was already mediocre from the cumulative effect of two head injuries (the most recent 22 years ago), is also currently poor. My already low tolerance for noise and light (also head injury related) is worse than normal, my vision is a little blurred, and I'm very fatigued despite basically just sleeping with earplugs in for 18-20 hours a day. I used to get them reasonably regularly, a couple of times a year, for up to a week but this is the first one for probably 18 months. I've always treated them with ibuprofen but with my almost total loss of appetite it was difficult to take much. You've confirmed my experience with paracetamol always seeming to have no effect and, as an asthmatic, I avoid aspirin. But I actually avoided my usual 2 coffees per day thinking it would be more harmful than helpful, so thanks for that interesting new information. I have spoken to my GP on one or two occasions about these migraines but he seemed unconcerned due to their relatively low frequency, however I'm due to see him for my normal seasonal allergy medications now, so I will raise the issue again and ask about the 'triptans.

Good & detailed explanation about migraine ...dr andrea and management .....i am a chronic headache sufferer ...diagnosed as vascular headache ....and as migraine .. same typical symptoms ..mostly once in 15 days ...paracetomol is my option ..due to sideeffects of medications and M.O.H we suppose to know preventive medications instead of nsaids opiods ...so already your past video about conenzyme q ...and vit b2 its option and meditation plays a key role .yes absolutely exercises like aerobics which enhances endorphins reduces and prevents frequency atleast .and 2 causes of migraine ....is right said ..excellent video madam ...

I get silent Migraines and Migraines with headache 😫 the silent Migraine starts off with Aura then a plugged up nose then very sensitive to noise everything sounds like a persing very loud like if I drop something it's 10 times louder than normal, then the vertigo starts I have the silent Migraine daily and if the wind starts blowing I'm SCREWED 😖 and the wind blows here 4 times a week I've had this for 3 years and 3 months . I get the migraine with headache also about once or twice a week I can't take nsaids I take feorocet I helps I try to take it as soon as the Aura, blurry vision, flashes and nausea starts I'm feel like I'm on a Boat or you know those bouncing play houses kids play with, well I get a little shaky and walk like I'm drunk and I don't drink I had an MRI with contrast all they said was they saw unspecified white matter I asked what's that they said oh it's nothing serious !wtf. Plus I was told back in 2014 I have chiari 1 malformation and was told " you just have to learn to live with it by a so called specialist Nerologist
