So how long did this turbo setup last? How did the engine let go? How much p.s.i.? I have a 5.4 in my f250 and wondered what I could do for maybe more power down the road

It lasted for about 2 years at 12psi, then I turned it up to 14psi and it blew up on the drag strip. Broken multiple connecting rods. You should check out the video where I blew it up.

It's a 5.4 with built internals. Yes, they are the revised 2003 heads with more threads.

I got a turbo truck similar to yours but the catch can is not connected fully

I currently just have one hose from each valve cover into the catch can ports and then it vents to atmosphere. I don’t really like it though because it smells really bad at idle. I need a better solution

Hey go buy yourself a expedition radiator they have the right fittings for the trans cooler lines and it’s the same size radiator as the Lightning’s

I'm wanting to do something similar to my 01 super crew, so here's my question. Did you turbocharge a stock engine? And if not, what did you do to the stock engine to make it be able to handle the Turbo? I'd like to super charge mine. But I don't have that kind of money just yet I love cars but I do not work on them. I don't have the patience. So let me just say that before everybody starts to get on my butt about not knowing

I got real good at replacing dorman intake manifolds on a stock 5.4 2v. Factory junkyard takeoff has now lasted longer than each dorman did individually.
