Thank you for making the equipment noises quieter. It's quite jaring when other KZbinrs don't turn down the volume, and I get an earful of full volume chainsaw / whatever.

Saw for the first time in your videos the red tongs. Those are great and have a been a back saver for me. I use them on beams and also many round logs I'm preparing for a round log shed. I ordered a second ratcheting F clamp earlier tonight. I saw one for the first time when you were working on the garage addition. You used it to clamp onto beams to move them around by the long part of the F clamp. I thought that very useful. A clamp plus an aid to move a beam around with the same tool. I watched this again for the chainsawing part. One issue with stance is having the left leg forward and partly out of sight because of the chainsaw. I've had a rule to never have any part of me forward of the power head. Most cuts are to the left leg thigh. So I'll have to come up with a reliable way to hold the saw with the left leg back. Good video.

Getting the saw close to the body is important both for safety and to avoid body strain. On a different subject, look up the channel timberdoodles, there are films by a pro framer, with use of the specialist tools for framing I don't have. All the best Lucas

tommersaks in Norwegian. Maybe timber scissors? I also use a clamp I think made by USAG. Those "scissors" are marketed by chainsaw manufacturers.
