1.5 inch Wheel Spacers Install on 2018 JL Wrangler

Installation of my Ebay 1.5 inch wheel spacers. I did a lot of research on these, i wanted something high quality such as Spidertrax. Spidertrax spacers are made of billet aluminum. So that's what attracted me to these.
These spacers are made Of CNC Machined 6061 Billet Aluminum & Grade 8 Hardware, which is very high quality materials. These are also HUB CENTRIC! Others members on the JL forum have been running these, and wheel pretty hard, and have not had any issues. These are very affordable at only ~$129.00 for a whole set of 4!

You're video really helped me out. The only thing that I did differently was use some anti-seize on the hub, so if they ever need to come off I don't have to pound the shit out of them with a mallet. I also used a light amount of red loctite instead of blue. Thanks for making this.

What I learned here is get 1.75” quality spacer and avoid the chance the studs will hit the wheels…especially aftermarket wheels that won’t have that relief

Recommend spydertrax or teraflex 1.75inch spacer. Do not use cheap product.

There is no weight being held by the center ring. It is merely there for alignment.

Im running 36 around town. Theyre load range E so theyre pretty stiff.. sometimes ill run them around 29-30 psi around town to soften up the ride. Offroad ill run them at 14-18 psi on the stock 7.5 inch rims

What does hub-centric mean? Great video by the way!

it is the Prominent part on the center hole of the wheel spacer used for fitting the wheel hub

Hub Centric means the weight rides on the hub instead of each lug. Wheels are either stud/lug centric or hub centric. But this video is incorrect, these adapters are lug centric! The guy doesn’t know the difference obviously... Anytime the lug nuts are cone shaped, they are lug centric.

@@mbperfection yessir. No need to regear. With the new 8 speed automatic handles just fine. Still see 8th gear on the hwy just fine. Maybe a loss of 1mpg. But no biggie

Cosmetic is the only reason to use these unless your JL is lifted and your using stock wheels.
