@garethchild5 жыл бұрын
I agree. Comparing this design with more modern boats is interesting, but this has charm and character of its own. As a steel vessel it also has lots of design & build traits I recognise from my own (much, much smaller) boat. Your experience on this would be completely different from, say, a Sunseeker 131. That, IMHO, is its appeal. Why compete? Why not opt out of the fashion show altogether and just enjoy the experience? Please, Aquaholic, do come back to this boat when the work is finished.

I dont know why people think the inside is outdated. It is not a 10 - 15000,000 pounds super yacht, l think it is very modern, absolutely love it. All modern bathrooms, just needs a good tidy up, Varnish all the handrails, Proper little ship, feel , that is missing on all these mega yachts. All that needs updating are the tv's and all new navigation equipment on the bridge. And she's good to go.

I just want to say that I really appreciate the way you do your videos. You give a proper tour keeping the camera on in one continuous scene going through every part of the boat. I absolutely hate videos that are supposed to be tour’s and they show a room scene ends, comes back there in another room. I can’t get an idea of the layout that way and it just frustrates me. With these videos I’ve seen everything there is to see. I love it never change it.

*That's a nice boat, it's got that ''Christina O'' kinda feel to it - lovely. £1.5 seems a good deal to boot, although I'd need a slick new interior and exterior, a jacuzzi for the super models, new ship-tronics and that engine is begging to be chromed-to-the-max. I'd probably use it as my 2nd boat and moor it in Gibraltar, ready for some med cruising - Cannes, Monaco... Portofino, you know the sort of thing, dear boy*

Hi Nick, catching up on some of your older videos. Gosh, you do a terrific job. Your camera is steady, you narrate with superlatives, enthusiasm, and curiousity. A few of your competitors sites are dashing through the boats, jiggling their cameras, and making the viewer feel rushed. Your videos are like sitting on the sofa with a cup of tea and chatting with an old friend. The largest boat I owned was a Carver 390MY Aft Cabin. Loved that boat! 2 heads, excellent shower stall in the master cabin, good outdoor space. One thing I notice in a lot of these videos of yours and others, is the fascination with “storage”. On a smaller boat, say 50 feet and under, storage is definitely important for buyers but not so much for viewers. On large and larger yachts, I don’t need to see every hanging locker or drawer, especially in mirror image cabins on the same boat. Another point of interest for me is in the size of the twin beds. You commonly call a bed for 2 a double. More comments about King, Queen, full twin, or narrow twin would be of interest. Some of the twins appear to be barely 30 inches wide while others appear much wider and comfy looking. One last comment: it makes me laugh a bit as to the number of fridges and ice makers one finds on some of these boats. It appears that boating is really an alcoholic’s game! My favourite part is the crew cabins. Seeing how the hard working crew gets treated is really interesting. Some boats seem to have a much more egalitarian approach with ensuites and separate showers. I cannot imagine having to use a washroom with a wet head and dropping one’s pants into a puddle of water! My old boat had one shower stall and one wet head. I always had every guest use the shower stall in the master stateroom. It is such a better experience. Anyway Nick, keep up the good work. Your charming presentations are a relaxing pleasure to watch.

The old CRT TV's struck me as well. If they have antiquated TV's on the Yacht what other technology is antiquated? I wouldn't feel safe on the open seas on this ship - it seems only good for puttering close to shore. For the same price I will take a 60ft Nordhavn over this yacht

Mostly famous for having built the last ship to serve the Azores - the RMS St Helena, one of they last ships the built before being closed and bringing an end to shipbuilding in the city. They also built the Sir WIlliam Hardy, which went on to become the Rainbow Warrior which met its end at the hands of the French government when owned by Greenpeace. Cracking vid though!

The New finished areas will always be in fashion. The blond colours are perfect.A bit of OLD dark walnut from the 1900s finishings. The TVS are most likely history? Maybe another million pounds to bring it right. Technology and teak etc. This boat was shamefully neglected but it is still worth saving. The carpeting is strange to have but maybe cheaper to rip out as needed? all in all a steal for 2 plus million.
