This is not a comprehensive guide, but I have a video of the whole process (up to the point of reassembly) for my own reference. It took me about 4-5 hours to do it the first time, including consulting the workshop manual and recording this video (which slowed me down considerably). I think it could be done in under two hours if I had to do it again. This is on a 1.6 MPI (engine code: BSE & BGU) in VAG models (Volkswagen, Skoda, Seat, Audi). The process should be similar for other VW 1.6 engines (BSF, CCSA, CMXA etc).
Parts Needed:
- timing belt and tensioner (I used GATES K015489XS kit)
- water pump (I used HEPU P572)
While you are at it, you could do the serpentine belt and tensioner as well (but it's not that much harder to do that one separately).
Tools needed:
- socket set
- 12-point 19mm socket (or wrench) to turn the crank shaft
- jack, jack stands, wheel chocks
- hose clamp pliers (or not, if you unplug the fuel hose from the other end)
- 10-60 Nm torque wrench
- OEM tool T10020 to set the timing belt tensioner
Interval:
- Not specified by the manufacturer, but the general consensus seems to be 5 years/120,000 km. I did mine for the first time at 125,000km and ten years and the original OEM belt still looked OK.

Thanks for graet video. The same car of mine)) On my Skoda with BSE engine the timing belt from the factory, haven't been changed yet. 16 years and 90K run. Looks great, as new. Observed the state with magnifier.

How long did it take to change belt and pump?

Around 4-5 hours total. But I it can be done faster when you are not recording every step.

I installed the kit completely and it gives me a loud buzzing noise when the car cools down, then the noise disappears, what could it be?

Allen key / hex, but of size I am not 100% sure. Probably like H6?

After i change the timing belt mine make an wird noise like something îs wrong I change all water pump and all kit

Wrong timing? Did you change belt tensioner(s)? Alternator belt+tensioner installed in original directions? Could be all kinds of things.

After hours of looking of the problem, I find the cause It was the new alternator belt .It had a rubber point on the back from factory ,and that make that sound. I replace it and it work fine now ​@@carsandtools
