Glad it went well and you're doing okay relatively! Can't wait to hear what you have to say when you're up and running again and you can actually enjoy the chest-less life :)

Thank you! I'm looking forward to that too 😊

Glad to hear that (apart from the migraine) it all went well. Best wishes for your recovery!

Aww yay! Congrats! And are you alone? And if so, in the future could you do a video on recovering alone? Because this is something I want to do after I have surgery. I'm not close with family and don't have any close friends so I'm all I got.

No, my mom is taking care of me. I should mention her more! So unfortunately I can't give much advice on that. If you're going to one of the South Florida surgeons I know of a lot of people who have stayed at New Beginnings and had good experiences, but I'm not sure about similar options elsewhere.

Oh, well that's good you have your mom there with you. And yes, I definitely want to go to Garramone so I'll look into that.

I have surgery on December 22nd and I’m hoping to make a drain bag! Do you have a pattern?

How many test did you have to do before surgery. Like blood test, urine text etc. days before the surgery date?
@CelesteM3 жыл бұрын
I had to get blood labs done within 30 days before the surgery, and a mammogram a week before (for Dr. Garramone this was only required if you were over age 35). Urine pregnancy test was done the day of surgery.

How long was the surgery? I’m going in three weeks to Garramone and I have a few questions.
@CelesteM6 жыл бұрын
Congrats! 😊 The procedure itself was just over an hour, but I was there for most of the day since I was the last surgery scheduled. What other questions do you have?

I know everyone’s pain tolerance is different but how long did it take you to feel back to yourself?
@CelesteM6 жыл бұрын
Probably 3 months to feel pretty much completely back to normal, but I would say by 2 months I was mostly back to normal. It was less a pain thing than just mobility/strength/being cautious though.
