Hey Luke, Im an Aussie who's half Indo and have been here for about a decade. 150 is a pretty good price, you can definitely find them cheaper for like 30 - 50k but the quality would be abysmal. For that quality that's not a bad price, it's not a foreigner price at least 🤷🏻‍♂+ Bhinneka Tunggal Ika isn't the name 😅 its the motto of Indonesia it roughly translates to 'Unity in Diversity'. Another banger video 🔥 ps. Anytime you see the letter 'C' in Indonesia, its pronounced as 'CH' (so CHENDOL, not Sendol; which you can get without Durian or with Jackfruit with imo is much nicer! just don't forget to mix it cause in the vid all the sweet syrup was pooling at the bottom) ENJOY YOUR STAY! 🇮🇩

without the durian, the drink itself is nice, it's basically coconut milk, palm sugar, and tapioca Pearls (the green thing) best way to eat durian is just the fresh fruit without mix with anything

Combro and Misro are typical foods from West Java, the neighboring province of DKI Jakarta. ComRo (Sundanese language : Oncom di Jero,Indonesian languange : Oncom di dalam) stands for oncom inside , while MisRo (Sundanise languange : Amis di Jero,Indonesian language :Manis di dalam) stands for sweet inside. Oncom is food made from fermented peanuts such as tempeh which is fermented from soybeans. Because Misro is short for sweet inside, it uses brown sugar.

fyi,u cant taste the pure durian,just go to the fruit store at beside the road ( at night) then u will find the durian one. i think its still good drink the es cendol btw, the taste mix sweet,etc.

It will be better if you try the original cendol first. It's delicious and sweet, if you can put the texture aside. Most people definitely like cendol, but it's a different story if you add durian, the durian taste will ruin everything for those who don't like durian.

you should have just the fruit instead of mixing it in a drink. Good durian varieties like Musang king or Black torn can cost you a bomb and for me they are fantastic! There is a reason why it's called the King of fruits in Malaysia :)
