This recipe is a bit controversial recipe, as it calls for flaxseed flour only. So the taste is surely a bit flaxy. So if you like flaxseed then only try this. And yes, it does take a lot of time to cook and also cool it completely. And after slicing, toast it and sprinkle your flavour of spice mix and enjoy. I personally have this guiltfree as its carb content is very low.

Thanks for the recipe I just made your bread and had it with cream cheese that I made out of buttermilk it was so divine I added baking powder salt and a little bit of mixed herbs to mine

Looks nice, except that large air pocket. Probably that can be avoided if using baking powder as well.

Did it a try and trust me it was soo yumm completely life saver in keto.. but I added some seasoning salt and half spoon of baking soda in it and it it turned out yummiest

Mine is about to go in the oven. I added some disolved yeast to it to cut the flax (fishy) flavor a little bit. I'll repost the results. Thanks! Always looking for some alternatives to almond flour.

200 Celsius x 1.8+ 32=392 Fahrenheit so just warm your oven to 390 to Fahrenheit for those of you who don't live in countries that use celsius

Freeze flaxseed before grinding and refreeze, regind. It's nearly as fine as bleached flour. I've never tried repeating the process.

@@sreyashiification on a cutting board or anything flat place a clean plastic and then the dough ball and another plastic sheet on top of it... Then I used a bottle as I don't have tools and rolled them... Finally when the roti was of a satisfactory thickness I removed the top plastic sheet n with the help of the lower sheet slowly released the roti on the pan... I actually used normal market polythene or plastic bag..

Middle rack and baking mode. Let it cool down for atleast 10 hrs and then slice. Just check its cooked by a toothpick test. It may take more mins for getting cooked.

I think because it's wet, try to add less water. It happened with me as will in the first but next try was good👍

Sorry it won't done by 45 min 200c I left it in oven for different degrees still the inside is not cooked so I decided to put it back in the oven 25min. More and on 350 degree???

Thankyou for that question, in Australia 1 cup = 250ml. That's why a lot of recipes don't work because we have different amounts for cups tsps tbs etc. It would be very helpful if all measurements were weighed on scales. Cheers Rosemary Perth Western Australia (70 yrs)

Yes it’s soft infact one should leave it untouched for 24 hrs after baking the bread.

Sorry for the late reply. I made this without adding any other ingredients. But if you want you can add herbs and salt for more added flavour. And yes, I did not add any vinegar or baking powder, just water.

Well I haven't added anything. But you can add salt and herbs and I have also baked it in the oven mode of my microwave. For 40-50 mins . I thinkbits 180° c

The taste is like a bit different and seriously if you don't like flaxseeds, then don't make it. I have developed the taste, since its net carb is miniscule and keeps me full

Sorry missed your post. Cook it for another 10 mins more and let it rest. Breads should always be rested before cutting.

I found all keto bread, whether market bought or home made has a different taste. And this one also has a different taste. I toasted it and made sandwiches and it was good. Very filling.

I made this bread today and for some reason I cannot get the inside of it to cook. I baked it for more than half an hour longer than was stated and it’s still gummy inside. Has anyone got any advice for this? I did use golden flaxseeds but I don’t see how that should make a difference. The outside edges that are cooked are really tasty so I really wanna make this work.

Magic in my Food I cooked it for almost an hour and a half and let it cool and it was still gummy inside. I kept taking it out of the oven and checking it about every 10 minutes after the 50 minutes.

Mam, Did u use roasted flaxseeds or the unroasted flaxseed? I tried to make the flour by using roasted flaxseed. The flour turned out damp/with moisture. It wasn't dry. Plz tell me.

Hi J, please make bread with ragi and or buckwheat flour. I have heard that flax seeds are extremely heaty so I was wondering. In the winters the laddus made with flax are a hot selling item in the hills
