Another wonderful study of the Bible. We can read the Bible but like the eunuch of Ethiopia we need an explanation of what we are reading, and you Pastor Guzik do a remarkable job teaching us about the Word of God whether in the old testament or the new testament. I find a consistent method of how you teach and you're not afraid of calling a spade a spade even if the Word cuts into the hearts of your listeners. I always wonder where you came from and how you've accumulated your extreme knowledge of God and His ways. You mention Chuck Smith being one of your guides. I understand that because Chuck teaches verse by verse which is my favorite method to learn the Scriptures. May God bless you with a long life bringing many people to salvation.

I did the same when I've got the anointing of the Holy Spirit, I was afraid that something could happen to my brain. I thought in this way, why should I believe in this Spirit only among many other spirits and I prayed God that I will believe and submit completely only after confirming that the God of the Bible is true God. And then Jesus revealed Himself through the word of God and also the historical evidence helped me the presence of Jesus. We are believing in a true living God whom the world seen. Jesus is God and He is not some fictional story or created out of imagination. We don't submit to God fully because we fear death and exploitation by others. We believe partially and we use partially. For us, God is not our portion. We take the help of flesh to survive in this world. May we give all our burdens to Him trusting Him fully and find peace and rest in Him. May we value the word of God and walk in it so that we become trustworthy as the word of God trustworthy. I fear greatly when people stop respecting the word of God.

To me, "born again" and "true repentance" , how important are these two doctrines? To me they are very important. If born again and repentance are there they will manifest in good works. Should they be preached regularly? I think so. Am I wrong?

Pastor Lance replies - You are not wrong. 1 John affirms this. At the same time, let's be careful to make sure we're saying that grace enables genuine repentance and true good works.
