Rudolf Steiner's teachings are the best antidote against the lack of meaning that so many people experience in their lives because of the deadening effect of our materialistic society. He places the human being at the centre of creation and describes our evolution in magnificent pictures that sustain the soul and stimulate the intellect. When you read Steiner this world make more sense, you'll start to look the world with certain infinity, nature and man as whole, not just a being with eyes locked material senses but the world behind all that. In today's world where people will hide himself behind so called "one truth", ignoring the good,the evil and the middle way all this western way of polluting the important things in human kind, Steiner wrote clues how to solve and seek the "truth", same as Buddha, basically Steiner wrote a general guide to understand complexity of modern man. He barely passed his university graduation, achieving his doctoral degree (which was then the first and only title awarded at the end of your studies) with the grade of "rite" (lat. "Sufficient", the worst possible oassing grade). So no, he wasn't an esteemed and lauded scholar, but basically a nobody. Good enough to be hired as a tutor(it WAS a university degree, after all), but nothing that'd get him anywhere close to a university career culminating in a professorship. But as a cult leader? There, he could count on respect, esteem, veneration even. The zeitgeist loved that kind of guru (even Tolstoy became the centre of an alternative lifestyle cult), and he filled concert halls with his "lectures". That was nothing extraordinary back then. You had spiritist societies, the "Reform" movement, Theosophy, Thelema, the Golden Dawn, all kinds of crazy occult nationalists. Perhaps Steiner's heritage survived because he was the most compatible with bourgeois society, the least threatening to the status quo.

It requires the capacities and effort to make the introspective observations of the mind to verify the claims. Science long ago gave up on introspection because they lacked the capacity.

I've studied different spiritual traditions, Steiner is very different. Other "occult" schools do not emphasize moral behavior enough (Thelema) And those that do (Theosophy) do not seem to value human individuality enough, because they draw on traditions (Hinduism, Buddhism) that came before the human soul was constituted in that way, symbolized by the Christ Event. So far only Rudolf Steiner has this middle approach. Comparable would be any kind of esoteric Christian teachings, but Steiners' is the most lucid, and thorough

Interesting how so much of his respected academic career was spent focused on Goethe. Goethe didn't achieve much academically, barely earning a law degree, which when put into practice was not successful due to his progressive ideas about justice in his desire for a more humane approach. During most of his formal education he was constantly distracted by other fascinations such as literature and the theatre that led him down different, but ultimately more creative and productive paths.

@@FringeWizard2 I would say that perception is both subjective AND truthfull. It is interpretation where things go wrong.
@cronoesify3 жыл бұрын
@@marionow6227 I would actually classify it differently. Knowledge is found in two separate forms: Feminine and Masculine (though, the word 'knowledge' would be insufficient when being applied to femininity - it's a sort of 'feeling' what is true, which may or may not actually be objectively true. The English language has plenty of words that have a masculine or feminine bend while pretending to be neutral). Masculine knowledge is more closely tied to what can be ascertained in this 3d space - while incorporating as much as we can with what we believe to be true outside of it. At one point in the past, that way of knowing the world incorporated spiritual evidence as a part of that masculine understanding, and helped form our religions. At the start of the age of enlightenment, we changed that to incorporate methods that were more rigid and materialistic. This was the advent of the cult of science, that felt it could better understand God if it observed it's creation. It gave way to many material gains, but over time our spiritual understanding waned. And that's because spirituality is to be experienced by the individual - it is felt, and only come to be 'known' later. It is feminine in nature, since it cannot be observed by all, or necessarily repeated in the same way. But that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. For those of us that have seen the insufficiency of modern masculine knowledge, a man like Rudolf Steiner is a whirlwind of fresh air and water in a stagnant desert of material ignorance. He may not be 'objectively' correct, but he speaks to a world that we have all felt - and some of us are better aware of that than others, and more willing to incorporate it into our understanding of the world as a whole. It is understanding that is both masculine and feminine.
@YT_HATES_FREE_SPEECH3 жыл бұрын
@@cronoesify in a way you have described the holy trinity, the femine 'feeling' is the holy spirit as its the spirit that animates & births life aka feelings/senses. The masculine '3rd space' you mention is the Father the mind, the link/connection to the heavens (or hell). To complete this triangle/trinity comes wisdom the Christ which is both knowledge & understanding as one. Btw im not religious im gnostic so no im not trying to promote any form of religious dogma if the above sounds like it.
@cronoesify3 жыл бұрын
@@YT_HATES_FREE_SPEECH That is a fascinating way to describe the trinity. I haven't thought of it from that perspective. My post is actually derived from astrology. The signs associated with understanding come from the two signs ruled by Jupiter - Sagittarius and Pisces. Masculine and Feminine, respectively. The 9th and 12th houses also describe the areas of life where this energy plays out (and while others don't like the idea of associating the numbered houses with the numbered signs...it is really, really hard to deny the connection). In the 9th house you have universities, but also religion. That is no mistake, as the purpose of Sagittarius is to come together, bring our experiences and understanding, debate with each other, and come to some collective, agreed upon view of what is considered to be 'true'. This is the masculine act of the Socratic dialectic - from debate, we can come to know truth. Beyond that, minority opinions are tolerated - in some religions, such as the Jews with the Talmud, the opinion is written down as an acknowledgement of a thought that may or may not be true (which is why when people use the Talmud as a means of demonizing the Jews, I tend to take some issue.) In either case, what is found in the 9th flows directly to the 10th - our governments, institutions, public life and values. That is why it holds such strong sway in our daily lives (and that will never change for those that hate religion as much as they tend to - for what we have thrown away with religion, we have tacked on through our universities. Those aren't doing much better when judged beyond the material results) The problem with all of this, however, is that even though we have come closer to an explicit understanding of what is true, we are bound to miss some aspects. What is lost and left behind can be felt in Pisces - in the areas of life that are between. Spirituality is also found in the 12th house, and is the place where you find your shamans in terms of spiritual guidance (but also your doctors, healers, etc.). But because the 12th flows back into the 1st (the area of the self, which is deeply personal to *only* the self), feminine understanding does not have an immediate impact on the collective. It is much more local, and much slower to take hold - at least until enough of us, personally, experience a collective experience that defies current conventional, masculine knowledge or understanding. Looking at this wall of text, though...oh boy I talk too much.

He led the German section independently and never embraced either madame Blavatsky or Annie Besant,s version.. and he used the term Anthroposophy long before the break with the Theosophical Society in 1912.. I think as early as 1904. 2. Your short list of Steiner,s most important occult books ends about 1910.. but much of his most sophisticated and penetrating spiritual science output was after that, during his last 15 years.. mostly given as lecture series. And if you dig deep, you’ll find his deepest grounding of human freedom in his treatment of karma in relation to the human will.

That is terrifying, but we do not know that for sure, what if he repented to Christ before his passing?

If he repented, he could be the YHVH. But if he did not, should we not believe in what the Father has told us? We told us how His decisions would be made.

As someone who was deeply rooted in esotericism as an agnostic and later a non-Christian theist, but has now repented and returned to Christ: for the love of God, please be very careful with esotericism, New Age spirituality, occultism, and similar practices. These “interpretations” of Christianity - like “Christ consciousness” - are not Christian doctrine. It’s okay if you’re upset that I’m challenging your beliefs, but please, please do your research before practicing anything at all (this applies ALSO to Christianity and all other belief systems). Always stay sceptical and listen to what both sides have to say. I was oppressed by demons for way too long because I practiced these spiritual activities: energy manipulation, OBEs, astral traveling, mental connections, moon energy, thinking pantheism was valid (which sounds like a simple philosophy but ends up worshipping the creation), various Hindu meditations, yoga, anything related to chakras, and especially opening the third eye, and what else not. I once believed that all religions, philosophies, and ideas had a bit of truth, and that the ultimate truth must lie in connecting everything. Boy, was I wrong-this is a very idealistic perspective. Please, for the love of God, do your research. Jesus Christ loves you. You’ve probably heard this a million times, but have you truly understood it? I didn’t until I experienced Him and His Love for myself. When you decide to be a Christian, invite Jesus Christ as your Lord into your life, and you will see for yourself that He is the Living God. He will give you more than you need. Don’t fall into this esoteric rabbit hole; you’ll burn your fingers. If you don’t want to listen to me, listen to Christopher Lee’s warning about the occult and how it can consume you. Or even better, listen to actual testimonies of ex-occultists and ex-esoterics. Think with me for a moment: if there is a Creator, would He make the most important truths so complicated that it’s nearly impossible to find? Wouldn’t that be more than unfair? The truth must be simple and espacially available. Understanding this requires humility. I meet so many brilliant people at university who are smart and intelligent but ultimately lack humility, which ironically blocks them from receiving wisdom. Just because you can hear or read words doesn’t mean you understand them. May God bless you. ✝

The fact humanity has welcomed Ahriman with open arms into their being is the reason this bit isnt titled "Rudolf Steiner, mad scholar or revered occultist." The army of jesus did their job and did it well in stopping Steiner and his warnings in their tracks. You dont simply read his works and digest them intellectually, you FEEL their truth and benevolence work into your soul.

Once Steiner became a theosophist his followers first ignored TPOF and then presented it as the foundation of spiritual science which is generally considered pseudoscience today. So nobody ever properly presented TPOF as a science of freedom. I don't have the charisma or talent to get much attention and my website is not supported by anthroposophists because I am not part of their spiritualist group identity and group thinking. In short no one effectively promotes it. I am always working to find a way.

i'm starting to see the turning of the religious zealots who don't understand the truth in the bible but act as if they do looking at turning on the initiated. Christopher Lee was right about Occult books tho, one can lose their mind to these concepts and ideas even the ones with good intentions. once you understand A fact and believe it, if it's structural and sound, it can govern your reality if you let it.

Did you watch the video? Steiner referred to himself as a "mad occultist". To me Steiner is a fellow individualist. Ethical individualists are not into hero worship, that is for Anthroposophists. Psychic ability? So you see ghosts?

There is only God through Christ... Christ ... Christ the King - The Alpha and Omega... God on Earth ... Let your love for the Father arise to match His for you There is only God through Jesus Christ - and your own meagre (yet miraculous) life - your own soul - your own unique and individual path Home. There is NOTHING else that matters in terms of the true path to God - through Righteousness and sinlessness - and your wished-for place in His Eternity in the New Earth. Steiner was an overtly intellectual shaggy dog merchant - like many others who get lost in intricate concepts beyond even his own human grasping or rightful concern - in an effort to be known as an exceptional man. His quest for notoriety and adulation and fame (even if purely altruistic(?)) was clearly successful. He left endless labyrinthine puzzles for intellectuals to play with with various degrees of success... 'Petits divertissements'... Confusions - not simplifications. Reader: Chill out, and become your true self - your best self... The self that God always wanted of you in this world in preparation for the next. Walk in simple humility - and teach the praise of the ONLY Truth. The wisdom of men is foolishness to God. There is only ONE way to the true Summit. Everything that the Bible teaches you is the absolute and only Truth of HIStory. Repent and follow Christ - you, know-it-alls (knowing nothing) repent - accept true humility - repent and learn the Truth that is selflessness

Well, you just cherry-picked statements to say that the 'Philosophy of Freedom' is independent from Anthroposophy. This is what the whole sentence said: "Thus, it seems to me that, on the one hand, this book occupies a position that is completely separate from my actual spiritual-scientific writings; and yet, on the other hand, is also intimately connected to them." It is true that you can take up the study/practice of the Philosophy of Freedom alone. But how can you be sure that once you have attained so-called "Moral Imagination", take up a book like Madame B.'s "Secret Doctrine", and get insights from it about the history of man and not arrive at something Anthroposophical? Please. Believing that you can stop your soul development at PoF is like believing Arithmetic is all there is to Mathematics. Everyone who knows Arithmetic well, knows well from inner experience that concepts of Algebra dawns naturally on them. I believe it is the same with the Philosophy of Freedom. Anthroposophy is a natural consequence of it.
@scienceoffreedom3 жыл бұрын
What is "anthroposophy"? How can it be the "natural consequence" of anything? Theosophy is a natural consequence? They are the consequence of a born mystic's clairvoyant vision which has nothing to do with POF.
@alexandrinadriano79003 жыл бұрын
I cited an example about algebra being a 'natural consequence' of arithmetic. It is just the immediate horizon that arises before anyone who has mastered arithmetic to a certain degree --and is WILLING to go further. Of course it's quite clear you can get on through the entirety of your life with only a mastery of arithmetic. But trying to push the idea that there is no 'algebraic horizon' ahead is simply ignorant and, to a certain extent, vicious. And anthroposophy is nothing but the consequence of clairvoyant vision and has nothing to do with the 'Philosophy of Freedom'? I suggest that you read Rudolf Steiner's Preface again and again.
@scienceoffreedom3 жыл бұрын
@@alexandrinadriano7900 "So this book seems to me on the one hand then to occupy a position completely separate from my actual spiritual-scientific writings, and yet on the other hand to be most closely bound up with them also." So what is that connection in TPOF? The observation of thinking shows thinking is not determined by physical process, but rather thought is guided by thought. In other words "reason" exists. So because there is such a thing as "reason" then Steiner's clairvoyant visions are real! Do you know of a single person who accepts this as evidence of spiritual worlds etc? I respect Steiner but the connection to TPOF falls into nothing when examined.
@alexandrinadriano79003 жыл бұрын
@@scienceoffreedom'The connection to TPOF falls into nothing when examined' - that's what you think coz you are precisely what I characterized as someone who knows arithmetic well but refuses to see the most immediate horizon before you, which is algebra. You are free to beat around TPOF for your entire lifetime and refuse to see that there is a Real spiritual world behind your precious Ideal world (Chapter 2 btw). Ideas as we normally receive them are like shadows of real, living spiritual beings, that's why there is a palpable 'coldness' in them- in case you dont know, that's how Anthroposophia sees the matter. As for the 'reality' (maybe you meant, 'correctness') of 'Steiner's clairvoyant visions' - I'm not in a position to judge. But Anthroposophia is not like other 'occult' bodies of knowledge that has gone public: it has a clear methodology which it doesn't brand as some 'sacred secret teaching' at all -- and PoF is part of that. It would be interesting to see how far you'll come towards a renewal of science and society with that approach, you know -- trying to beat around TPOF while - actually - 'casting sidelong glances' to what is later revealed in the spiritual-scientific research done by 'mad occultist' Rudolf Steiner. It will be funny, for sure.
@scienceoffreedom3 жыл бұрын
@@alexandrinadriano7900 The issue is not my personal beliefs, the issue is what the POF says and does not say. I don't call into question your "beliefs", just what you say about TPOF.
