I found i relax the way you talk about by saying "loose as a goose" before drawing...makes me laugh in my head a bit and takes the rigidity out of my form as it also reminds me to only flex my back but keep everything else relaxed. It's dumb but effective for me.

Not dumb at all. A lot of us use short phrases to help trigger things. Thanks for sharing that! Could help others too!

Awesome Stuff Mate 🏴☠️🏹🏁 I'm looking forward to the release hand video as I've just been experimenting with a tension release I thought would help me but I've gone back to my Hinge. I find if my shot doesn't go off within 3 or 4 seconds my float goes nuts. Sometimes the dam thing just won't go off Hahaha... But when it does I'm averaging around 905 points on outdoor 3D THANK YOU 😊

Thank you for watching! I’ve found shooting a tension release to be different than any other release in what it needs out of the hand so that’ll be a good reference for me to make for the next video.

I've had the same bow for 3ish years now (Mathews V3 31) and have always felt my draw length was too long. The interesting thing is that some days it feels perfect, but most days it feels as though I'd benefit from a half inch shorter draw. I'm constantly watching back tape of myself, but it doesn't look the way it feels.

If it feels different day to day it could be how your placing the shoulder in the joint. Make sure it’s in a natural position and adjust the bow to it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGGTaoZ-mL2SrKcsi=ZSMh6cSMpTxScmEi

Good another video! but I have a question, why many pro target archers don't relax the elbow? and the arm of bow its very extend? for example Fullerton, Shamai Yamrom ecc, does it also depend on the position of the feet, whether more open towards the target or more in line with the shoulders?

Thank you for watching and for the comment here! I can only speak towards Mathias here as I’ve watched him shoot a lot. So if you watch video of him and look at the bow arm and elbow area. When the shot breaks his arm extends a little more outwards towards the target. So while he’s got a very straight bow arm, it’s not locked out or over extended because there’s still room there for it to expand and move forward on release. I have a little more bend in my elbow than him for sure but he’s shooting in the same manner.

Robert, I struggle holding low sometimes, but I feel like it’s because I am peeking over my pin trying to see the target.. do you have any tips to combat that?
@rcrchery3 ай бұрын
For me I peak around my pin when it's too big and covering too much of the target. You could try a smaller pin and see if it helps.
