I almost always feel tendonitis pain in my biceps. Sometimes I have to start on 4kg dumbells for curls and work my way up to 15kg's, by the end of that my arms are cooked.

Using two ropes for Triceps - biggest waste of time ever! Doesn't create anymore RoM than using a single rope attachment. How can two ropes create more contraction/stretching? They can't! The RoM is dictated by the elbow, not how long the rope is.
@tylermiceli91009 күн бұрын
I find that using two ropes gets my elbows behind my body much easier which helps fully contract the long head of the triceps

You're wrong
@worduser8999 күн бұрын
Yeah, don’t train like this if natural. You’re leaving significant gains on the table. Go at least a bit heavier and especially don’t stop sets when form starts to suffer. Also ditch the rope pull-down if you’re anywhere near a beginner.
@What-he5pr8 күн бұрын
Why the rope? And if going heavy how do you keep your joints happy?
@worduser8998 күн бұрын
@@What-he5pr I have seen thousands of dudes in the gym tug on those ropes and probably 2 of them had big triceps. Load up an EZ-bar and do deep "skullcrushers" behind the head for a few sets, and then you can do a real pump and dump with the rope strictly as a finisher. Better yet, use a bar instead of rope and do heavier pushdowns to develop some kind of strength that is useful for pressing movements, which'll lead to more overload on those and more total triceps stimulus over time. As for joints, I'm talking 5-8 reps when I say "heavy", and I have never had any problems with joint pain. It mostly comes down to proper warmup and technique, assuming you don't have underlying injuries or anything.
@davidec.40213 күн бұрын
Yeah, ignore this comment. As a natural, DO train like this, because “gains on the table” 1. Are not worth injuries and 2. You are not an Olympia competitor, you can afford to “leave gains on the table”. Don’t obsess over it, push hard and be consistent
