1 Week On T | Voice Breaking Already?! (FTM)

Is my voice breaking already after just one week on testosterone?! After overusing my voice at Thorpe Park last week, it seems I may have sped up the voice-breaking process, it sounds as if my voice is breaking already and I have only been on Testosterone for a week!

No one elses seem to match like your changes lol (except for the voice I just sound a little sick?) Even down to the closing your legs thing and being more direct. I got my first t shot 4 days ago and I'm really happy. Thing I noticed is increased energy, and not a little. A LOT. And my throat is slightly sore. Don't know if relatable. Maybe a little. I am very excited. Thanks for sharing your experience dude

Ah congratulations my friend, welcome to this epic journey! And yes,.my throat used to be sore after every shot for the first few injections, it does affect the soft tissues first. Drink lots of water! Enjoy the changes!

I'm glad that they dry throat seems to be a normal thing. I kept thinking that I was really thirsty or maybe getting a cold, but it seems like something a little more permanent is cooking up. Congrats on the changes though, I look forward to when I see your video in my sub box :D.

Wow. I been looking for videos of these changes in the first week. I aalready had a sort of deep voice (I am 36 years old) I took my first testosterone shot last Tuesday which is a week. My voice started to change already getting deeper. I was really surprised. There has been slight changes to my appearance even though I look like a dude already before T. I was given 1ml/g dose of T rather than 0.25. Not sure what was seen in my lab results. But regardless, I am happy with the changes already.

Congrats on starting this epic journey! Yes, I too noticed voice changes very early on, some people do, whereas others can take months. Its al about how the testosterone inteacts with our biochemistry. Glad you are feeling happy, I love to hear that!

Ah congratulations on starting your epic journey! And yes, a sore throat after the first injection is common, testosterone goes to the soft tissues first which is why we often get a scratchy throat afterwards. It's such an incredible journey, looking back at me 9 years ago now is rather amazing! Have you seen my more recent videos?!

the funny thing is your body keeps changing and its hard to keep track of. When I started I was sick for 6 weeks. Your body is fighting the T at first until it gets used to it. I had aches especially my arms felt dead & needed to clear my throat all the time. I also had heat just coming out. I think it is your liver processing the T and that is why you get the flushes. Downstairs changes so quickly and sensitive for awhile too. Be well and enjoy the changes. Hope your voice comes back soon :)

I started T last Friday and I had the dry throat exactly the same. I vape so it made it worse. I sound like you. I have been singing and I couldn't get to my top range today. My mother asked me if I was sick 🤣 I said no? Once I was singing and my voice squeaked like a teenage boy. I'm also growing blonde baby hair all over! 😂 I'm so excited and happy.

be careful ..as you can damage the vocal cords if you scream or sing a lot when the vocal cords are changing. Choiristers are advised to stop singer as their voices change etc.

@@FinnTheInfinncible It’s getting there, i’m about 5 months in now and my voice has dropped quite significantly. It’s not really as deep as i would like it to be but it’s also not so high that it gives me dysphoria. I’m only 5 months though, so i know i’ll get there.

@@charlie00 absolutely it will! And don't forget to practice. We've been so used to speaking at a higher range and it takes getting used to. Try speaking from lowe down, right deep from your tummy and you'll notice a difference!

I’m 1 week in now! My dose is smaller starting out, at 20.25mg a day via gel. I’ve just started to get the scratchy “can’t get my throat wet” feeling now. I also get what you mean by “things look differently out of my eyes” thing?? I was on the bus yesterday and suddenly the seat in front of me looked so much different? It sounds absolutely delusional, but I have no idea how to describe it besides things looked.. clearer?

Congrats on starting T! This is very common in the first few months. My throught and mouth were constantly dry and i was forever trying to clear my throught, this os voice breaking for you! It will level of by about a year. I used some strong menthol lozenges to help clear my nose and also lubricate my trhoat. They do help. I also used and still do use a netti pot, as I developed a few sinus and ear issues after starting T. Not everyone is a fan of these but I swear by mine! amzn.to/3eC05Kg

I start T on Aug 27, 2022. I know I felt an almost unbearable hunger pretty soon after. Was like Ive never eaten before. The next morning all I could focus on was the way I felt down lower.. even 3 days after it's still very noticeable. The 2nd day after, which was yesterday my voice cracked so bad, and I thought I almost lost it for a minute..OH!! Also I feel as if someone turned the heat up to 90 and left for the weekend. 😳

After my first few shots I felt like I was looking from the outside in everything looked soft and far away almost like what I imagine taking hard drugs would be like. But then T is an anabolic steroid it's vigorous and potent and in the amount we take it our bodies just ain't used to that initially :) it's gonna be surreal mate believe you me.as for the down stairs yeah I was hyper sensitive had to sit in a towel a lot and very randy lol ;)

One week on T and I haven’t noticed one single difference. How much were all of you prescribed? I started on 0.2 ml or 200mg. That seems to be pretty standard to begin with.

Voices break very differently, some quick, some slow, but it will break! And smoking is never a good idea!

Congrats on starting T! Many people get a scratchy throat when starting testosterone. I have heard that testosterone effects the soft tissues first which explains why it may feel sore. I had a scratchy throat after every injection for about the first year

How much stronger is libido on T if you had to put it in percentage increase?

This is a tough question as it varies for everyone, and everyone base libido before testosterone is also different. Plus, there are other factors invloved, such as feeling better about yourself and your body, which also can increase libido! For me, it was a 90% increase. I had zero libido before T and suddenly, a few week in...wham! sex drive arrived! It has levelled off in intensity but is far kigher than it ever was pre T. My inyerest in intimacy is also vastly increased, but thats more to feeling comfortable with my body and with my sexuality

Yes thats very common! Many of us have the exact same symptom. This carried on for me for the first few years on T, now it no longer happens

Just lots and lots of water, before and after the injection. It's because the testosterone hits the soft tissues first so being hydrated does help

Malcolm Knight-Tyler its all very dependent on your genes really, some people grow hair quicker than others, some peoples voices drop really quick some take ages, there really no telling but it will all happen in time! You should do a blog too, be really interesting from your different point of view
