Free wood is usually good wood. Heck i even love the hollow logs.. got guys that buy em for 15 to 20 bucks a pop for campfires..

How long do you typically cut the hollow ones.

@smorefirewood most of the time around 20 inches so people can fit inside em.. i did 16 inches for a few times but people wanted em a little taller to keep the wood burning inside them.. thats what the serious drinkers have told me so the log and fire last long enough for em to get their drunk on.. lol.
