to drop the weight of the Kidd trigger, (single stage) Remove one or 1/2 coil from their grey, (Lighest) trigger return spring and test to be sure that it resets properly. I'm Running mine just under 1 lb at .8 lbs. KnifeMaker

I'm currently trying to decide between a Kidd build and a Volquartsen build. Thank you for making this video. It helps!

Life gets busy. Work and family time. Also half of what I put on here gets demonetized. Listing to a bunch of whining, no life, know it all cry babies on the Internet gets old. Often I would rather just enjoy my hobbies and my family time. I know some want and appreciate the information so I still put something out every now and then.

@@TheFullNeilsonOh come on, my comment was meant in jest. I've obviously enjoyed your content. Don't be so defensive. Sheesh.

@sfcablecar I know your comment was in jest. My comment about people on the Internet was not directed at you. It was a general explanation of why I don't spend much time making content.

Solid video, been looking everywhere to see if Kidd trigger packs fit in the MI chassis. You just saved my build bro! Did you have to modify the chassis at all to get it to fit? Can't seem to find the TCR22 so going with a Volquartsen receiver with a Kidd match bull barrel. Hopefully they all fit together..
@TheFullNeilsonАй бұрын
I would not recommend the Midwest chassis for your build unless you are prepared to make some modifications. If you are running a receiver that is longer than a standard receiver you will have to cut part of the chassis to make it fit. Also the Kidd trigger does not fit without some modification to the chassis or trigger housing. I hope this info helps you out. Good luck

@TheFullNeilson Ya was reading about the receiver before going with the Volquartsen. Originally wanted the tuff 22 but it has an extended rail section in the front. The Volquartsen seems to be very similar shape wise to the oem receiver. Fingers crossed for that one. I'm curious what type of modifications you had to fit the trigger pack? Where was it getting stuck n what did you file down? Once it is in can you fit the quick mag release lever?

As you said, it depends on application. For hunting I prefer about 2lbs.
