I don’t understand how the phone works with this unit. I can’t get it to come through car system in the car. what’s the sense of having to hold the phone in my hand to make a call? I don’t understand it. thanks for any help.

Have you figured out a way to change the "Rolls Royce" appearing on the screen under Android Auto? I found it in the Android Auto settings: Previously connected cars - accepted cars - rename. "Rolls Royce" appears there under Car Manufacturer. I see no way to change it. "Rolls Royce" also appears on my screen under the Android Auto App screen.

Hi! I have a 2011 Infiniti m56. It doesn’t have aux, only Bluetooth. If I connect my iphone to this wirelessly, then can I connect the device to my car’s Bluetooth to use the car’s speakers?

This looks identical to one Seicane sell for about $100.00. How does this one compare to the Seicane unit? The Seican is the same 10.3", with Carplay, android auto, mobile mirroring, built in speakers and connects to the car in the same way this Carpuride one does. Just wondering what makes Carpuride worth being double the price of the Seicane branded unit.

I have not tested the Seicane unit but I can tell you that Carpuride is a premium well known global brand and I have tested many models from them, they are quite good and durable

I own one in my car. I would not recommend this unit because NETFLIX does not show on the screen and only on your phone even if you are mirroring your phone. You will see a black screen in your screen while trying to mirror your NETFLIX videos. Update about this needs to be released to fix this issue.

This is a common problem I'v seen in many different devices, so I think this is a Netflix app issue that does not allow mirroring or even split screen in some cases.

Yes, you have an option of just using the builtin speakers on this device. You can also connect the audio to your car sound system by FM transmission or using AUX cable. Its quite nice, you will love it

There is no internet system in this unit, when you connect your smartphone for Carplay, Android Auto or Mirroring, you are actually using the internet on your smartphone

I think showing the FM transmission was a fail. Every review shows that. What I, and I’m sure many others can’t seem to find is an example of how this works with the phone connected via Bluetooth to the carpuride and the carpuride connected via Bluetooth to the car.

No. It will use your phones BT to connect to the unit. Which means handfree via the carpuride.

To be honest, I did not stick the screen in my car, but the two sided sticking base looks quite strong. For this model, you can connect the audio to your car stereo wirelessly thru FM transmission. I'll say the main screen from the 10 inch got that clock thing is a bit too much for the space. Like he mentioned in the video. You can't get full size screen Only for your GPS that's it

No, you cant connect a dongle with this, and you cant install apps. You can have the apps on your mobile and then mirror it on this screen

If you are playing videos via the mobile screen mirroring then it will be full screen, but if you are playing thru the SD card or USB stick then it will not be full screen

This screen does not have KZbin app but you can play it on your mobile and do screen mirroring to show it on this screen. The other option is to connect a Car Media adapter with this screen

The internal speaker is awful. How can you call it powerful?? Aux port to car radio is the ONLY satisfactory way to make a call or listen to music. They have a nice, big screen but that's it. No options for..... - Customizing apps. It's Linux & not android so no play store, & forces you to mirror from phone to watch KZbin, use other apps etc... - Front cam, or 360 - DVR - Remote control - Back up sensors - Tire pressure sensors - ODB reader And customer service is pathetic & completely useless. Processing & ram are minimal. If you only use it for carplay & want a big visible screen it's great. Otherwise it's overpriced for what it actually is

@@paulostyles9484 that's the problem. The portable units can't compete with in-dash units. Atoto P8 has a few more features but only a 7in screen. Hopefully better portable units come out soon
