Yeah especially because if the NPC punches or shoots you in front of a lawman they do basically nothing. One of the few flaws in this game.

Drowning npcs in water, the last move, you can also do it with the knife and the animation is longer/brutal. Both in first person and third, good video by the way, there are some that if you haven't played this game much you don't even notice. Respect.

You know what, here's a few techniques that end fights quickly if you ever bump into someone by accident (ingame). To do a kick to the legs while grappling (standing up) just let go of them by pressing the sprint button/key and hold when you press it, while going forwards but dont try to move before you dismiss and then you can try to spam melee

You can also just do the crouch punch technique or the spear tackle (double tap sprint while moving towards them and press grapple while in a running state)

You can also sometimes dodge to the side, or get them to the ground and get behind them while they stand up, then grab them from behind and just let go of them then tap melee to instantly ko from a grab

I'm just gonna say some more useful melee mechanics. You can parry with your fists then run around behind them while they can't attack or move, and just grab them

And you can also just get that one hard stun animation where they hold their head, then just run around and grab them from behind and just press and hold the run button without moving in a direction while letting go of them. However the timing is harder than the front grapple, the timing is kinda hard. But just press and hold the run button, then move forward, and don't melee them while you're not moving or if you're not disengaged from combat. Usually the most consistent way that works for me to get the stun is to dodge, then on certain animations it's almost guaranteed that they'll throw a haymaker. Then you just have to move towards them while holding block, and punch them when you step back, the timing is kinda hard to get compared to normal counters. You can also hold block and punch, this might help to recover from being countered. Ok now I'ma probably stop yapping

John is strong but arthur is more strong than john because arthur can easy destroy and Smash a big guy and can easy give a brain damage to a big guy like tommy too . But john only can with hard tries takeout a normal npc or a medium guy , like in that mission when he fights with laramies leader . That laramies leader is a normal guy and isn't strong and arthur can takeout him easily , but we see in that mission john can't defeat that guy easily and just he takeout him with gun and his good luck .
