10 Best Dressed from the Oscars 2023 | Bazaar UK

The Academy Awards is the biggest night on the Hollywood calendar, and always delivers some of the best red-carpet fashion of the season. This year was no exception.
We saw Michelle Williams looking bridal and ethereal in Chanel, Jessica Chastain embracing sequins in Gucci and, the queen of maternity fashion, Rihanna showing off her baby bump in a leather number by Alaïa.
It was an evening filled with red-carpet drama, and a fitting end to the 2023 awards season. Above, we round up our favourites, the 10 best-dressed stars at the 2023 Oscars.

No offense, but, personally, I don't think Rihanna, Rooney Mara, Michelle Williams, and Elizabeth Olsen deserve to be in the top 10 list for best dressed in that night. I think Halle Berry (she killed it), Nicole Kidman, Emily Blunt, Fan Bing Bing, Angela Bassett, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ariana DeBose, Lady Gaga, Mindy Kaling, Sofia Carson, Salma Hayek, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Hudgens looked amazing. Favorite look of the nights were definitely Cara Delavigne, Danai Gurira, and Halle Berry.

​@@cool3041 Halle Berry looked like a Greek goddess. I liked Rihanna's look more when she performed, but her red carpet hair looked like as if a daddy tied her 8-year old's hair in a bun. Vanessa Hudgens had the bun done correctly. I also don't find leather flattering for pregnant looks. It's a very tight and uncomfortable fabric that doesn't stretch, and let the wearer breathe. It was supposed to give her structure, accentuating her curvaceous silhouette, but it looked very constricting and suffocating. It just didn't give her much motion. I wanted to see something more light and ethereal, where the fabric would flow like a mantle. Something more bright that would celebrate life. But she chose a very constricting black leather dress. To each their own, I guess.

@@DanieB322 she had her firsr hangover at 7 hangover because she picked up drinks at a wedding. and she had a dyspraxia and her mother didn't help the situation. also depression issues when she was young. i have done my research. i have also heard from more than 1 source. An alcoholic ?? she wouldn't have survived school and keep modelling at the top of the game from a young age.
