I’m greatful to Mike for his “overtraining” videos way back. That’s the reason I always had that in the back of my mind and started exploring. I’ve been training for 8 years now and I still apply these ideas to my training. I’m 100% natural and not concerned with what anybody uses or not but I do know that it works for me. It made me stronger , more muscular and increased my Athleticism. I can do 5s or triples as easily as doing high volume for hypertrophy. I can do this without issue because I implemented the idea of overtraining , using different weight and rep targets as well as pyramids such as what Mikes overtraining videos showed. I still enjoy to watch those a couple times a year.

Let's get it brodda I'm coming back from falling off. I got a leg injury when I was at top of my fitness goals. I stopped running and working out got depressed and picked up drinking. It almost killed me. I had so many obstacles that I won't speak about but I gained weight too and NOW I'm getting back on my game. I been sober for almost a month. I already lost 4 pounds. I'm going in for surgery for the knee. I'm working on what I can work on. I believe a man should be a warrior. Videos like these make me get in the mirror and say ok I must work on this or that. Thanks for the encouragement and tips. To all reading this who want too but don't, remember u must start to finish AND consistent is key to building a body and mindset to make you feel great about your achievement. Next time u can, pick up a 20 pound or even a 35 pound weight, feel how heavy it is. I bet you never knew you maybe walking around with that much belly fat weighing you down. That's a way to look at it to make sense of how important it is to lose excess unneeded fat. Be a warrior in your mind and be determined EVERYDAY to make a change, results WILL COME

A great list. With boxing, working with the double end bag or a cobra bag is a really good drill if you're working solo. The double end bag and especially the cobra bag are hard to hit and you will have to slip to avoid the bag hitting you. It's all about the speed and the timing. All the power in the world isn't worth much if you can't actually hit a moving target. Speed doesn't count if it doesn't connect.

Another thing is be safe I maxed out at 225lbs with barbell squats, got to my last rep with no spotter, and went all the way down and couldn’t come back up, I released the weight from behind me, hyperextended my thumb and palm, my middle finger popped out of socket, this is not for the weak you must be extremely focused, know when to increase your weights, know when your already fatigued, know when to rest between sets. Don’t be stupid lift smart. Or else you will have injuries and have to wait to recover to lift again. ✌🏽
