I want to give everybody a pro tip. I've been training people for 35 years. If you notice when this guy is pushing up the weight he is actually holding his breath until he gets to the top and then he exhales. For the majority of people this won't be a problem but I can tell you if you have an aneurysm or high blood pressure, it's a very dangerous way to lift. Even after I got my degree in exercise science, I still didn't know this. I learned this not too long ago when I had to start learning about aneurysms. All exhaling should be done as you are pushing the weight not just when you get done. This goes for every exercise. Most people don't even realize they're doing it and I sure didn't know for a long time. Good luck!.

@flextefitness4954 Жыл бұрын
@@rareforareasontv exactly. Most people hold their breath until the end like I saw in this video . For most people it won't make much of a difference but with certain health conditions it's very dangerous and in general it's best to do it right.

Got to be dialed in for every set for every rep. That mind muscle connection is so critical. Even with a plate you connect with the muscle you can feel the muscle work throughout the whole movement. May not be the same work as two plates but you can still feel it. I close my eyes when I do most of my lifts. This allows for a symbiotic connection between mind and muscle.

And I was like I’m doing this my next workout and I’m going to start working toward more gains.
