The one guy said that IN ORDER FOR SUBSCRIPTIONS TO TAKE OFF, gamers would have to get used to not owning their games He also pointed out that many people subscribe to Ubisoft+ for a month to try a new game, then cancel the subscription and just buy it, and Ubisoft are happy with that.

@@jasewildheart "One of the things we saw is that gamers are used to, a little bit like DVD, having and owning their games. That's the consumer shift that needs to happen. They got comfortable not owning their CD collection or DVD collection. That's a transformation that's been a bit slower to happen [in games]. As gamers grow comfortable in that aspect… you don't lose your progress. If you resume your game at another time, your progress file is still there. That's not been deleted. You don't lose what you've built in the game or your engagement with the game. So it's about feeling comfortable with not owning your game. "I still have two boxes of DVDs. I definitely understand the gamers perspective with that. But as people embrace that model, they will see that these games will exist, the service will continue, and you'll be able to access them when you feel like. That's reassuring. They said that and then they went into peoples account and deleted a game

Can't a successful channel like this take 2-5 minutes to put in time stamps or "chapters" as YT calls it. Pretty dumb that solo unknown KZbin are able to care and put in chapters in their videos but a big channel can't even be bothered to respect people who watch their videos.

I don't hate what I've played of it so far. The premise at the very least is intriguing. Also, you can't trust user scores on Metacritic because they let people who never played the game review it which leads to People review bombing games for things like having a black main character. You should have to be able to prove you played the game before you can review it

Biggest thing with the battle pass for me is that the challenges that give the most currency encourage you to try other characters. But each character has systems to reward you for becoming proficient and spend time with them. So it can feel like you have to sacrifice one to do the other. But it being new I guess having the first season encouraging you to try lots of heroes is a better goal to find the play styles you like

Unicorn Overlord should've been on this list imo. It's an excellent game and is my 2nd favourite game this year after Metaphor. It was a mild success. But it feels like it's disappearing into obscurity way too quickly. And the fact that it didn't even appear in this video helps prove my point.

Going to massively diasgree with Outlaws being on here. I played it, and absolutely did not care for most of it's core gameplay, mechanics or even story. Felt devoid of anything that made it "Star Wars", and if it was set in any other universe it would have been ignored by the industry as a whole.

Why, why do you never post a link to a list of names for all these games? It would be helpful if we had something that was easy to copy paste and use to google these games. I get you don't want to list them all in the description since then no one would watch the video. But least put a link to a google doc with a password towards the end of the video. People get a list of usable names, and are going to watch the video to get the password. Win win, no?

Just skip to the end of the video and get the password
@EtsuMatsuya
@EtsuMatsuya 17 күн бұрын
@@chovymasters7577 Yeah, but that is the thing; if they don't put it right at the end, but somewhere randomly in the middle or end-ish, and made sure it was not on one of the preview shots, then you have to watch it to know it. Also if they didn't put it on screen but made it a quick blurb like "password "pasta" then it is harder to skip to without watching. The only issue is getting a moderator to delete comments with the password in them, at least for the first 24 hours or so when you get the most views.

Flintlock: when you understand each boss's mechanics, it's brilliant. I did have to look up how to deal with one boss move, because you're supposed to use a long gun to interrupt it. And the final boss would have been a lot easier with the gauntlet that extends your melee range. Really solid game. The moment where I had the greatest respect for it though, first optional superhard boss. Because the reward for it was an extremely optional melee weapon that buffs up with your XP combo, based on you doing a variety of moves without getting hit. So it's a weapon that is only a reward for the kind of player who can handle a boss that can two-shot you and you *really* need to parry the heck out of him to win. And it doesn't require any special material to upgrade, just your XP/cash. So it isn't part of the normal upgrade economy. That's clearly intentional. It told me SO much about the way the dev team thinks, and that they were allowing for a high skill ceiling, but not making it mandatory.

No One Wants to Die was the biggest waste of money. There are no stakes; it's impossible to not succeed. The voice acting was awful and the characters tried so hard to convince us that there was a chemistry there, but there was less than zero chemistry. It was a walking simulator. It never once let go of your hand and let you play and figure things out and mess things up. Don't buy it, watch a play-through in KZbin and you're going to get more out of the game than actually playing it. Don't waste your money on that pretentious game that does nothing but jerk off in your face while asking you constantly "Isn't this SO COOL!?!?"

Prince Of Persia The Lost Crown was a fantastic game, and a hard as hell 100% on Series X, well worth it. Picked up Pacific Drive Deluxe Edition for $15 and it's still sitting on the shelf waiting its turn. They'd have to pay ME to play Star Wars: Outlaws. I couldn't look at that butt-fugly main character for a dozen plus hours.

if being told you possibly didn't play a game is somehow insulting you don't belong on the internet. you need some thicker skin.

Many people didn't play at least 2 of the games because they are associated with the SB and so they flopped.

And yet there's not a single piece of content in the games themselves that the people who complain about that would have any problem with. Not like it matters what Prejudice people think anyways

@@OversoulGaming I heard at least one argument about one of the games: SB pushed the change of the main character in the middle of production to one that doesn't fit the original idea of the game so it isn't something that people like and want to get to know this character. If you don't like sth it isn't "being prejudiced". So, please, stop pointing fingers at other people and whining about things you think people "must like" but they don't.

I thought the SB conspiracy theory fell out of fashion but I guess some people like the delusion
