Super Mario Galaxy is definitely one of my favorites. The gorgeous orchestrated soundtrack, the beautiful environments and galaxies, and Rosalina's story were a huge part of my childhood. Her story actually made me cry multiple times, idk if anyone else can relate lol

I understand what you mean with depression and video games. Video games give us escapes from our agonizing introverted lives. I suffer from bi polar disorder asnd depression and possibly scizofrenia because of my real mom. And to be honest i never want to see her again she is a meth addict not to mention an alcoholic and i havent seen her since i was like 4 and im 15. Although my life right now is better than being with her its not that good. I have a step mom who hates me and shes told me that and shown it my whole life with her and my dad. I had a brother in colorado who robbed me of all my pokemon games and other games and my gameboy advance sp. He denied it but then i found it in a local retail store all so he could afford more weed. And i say used to have a brother in colorado because i recently was forced to move to Arkansas and lose all of my close friends. Im lonely now and i haft to go to online school now since we moved. I honestly dont know why i havent killed myself unless its been video games. Im sorry for ranting probably no one cares anyways.

You my friend are somewhat of a rarity and it’s honestly uplifting and I tend to feel a lil lighter and less anxious every time I take the time to watch one of your vids. Nier Automata is the best game that almost nobody will ever play, and its a shame. I’m not much a JRPG/Anime type person, but this game is beautiful, and weird in all the best ways. So glad I took a chance on it. I recommend it to anyone that will listen.

Just want to say 5 years later that I bet you’re glad you were wrong about the Alan Wake sequel. It’s such an underrated game IMO. I hope the sequel turns out well. Fun Fact: Red Dead Redemption and Alan Wake were released within a week of each other in 2010.

In my eyes Breath of the wild gave me that sense of amazement that you talked about having when you played OOT. There have been very few games that ever gave me that feeling. I've played through a lot of games, and I remember feeling that way about Spyro 3 on PS1, Metroid Prime and twilight princess on GameCube, and Portal on PS3. It's the feeling of being transported to a new world, something so incredible that you forget about everything bad in your real life. Those four games contain a magic for me that most games don't even come close to. I felt it again in breath of the wild though. I've finished more games than I can count..... On my switch alone, which I've only had for a couple months, I've finished Mario, Zelda, Doom, and some indie titles. But even Mario, as great as it is, didn't keep me thinking about it like BOTW has. I haven't even finished BOTW yet, mainly because I'm dragging that magic out as long as possible. I just hope I won't have to wait too long before I feel that magic again once I'm done with it. My fingers are crossed for the next Metroid Prime.
