Valtane has bigger problems than his teleporting around the bridge, given that he's both dead and alive during the events at Khitomer - depending on whether you follow the version in 'Undiscovered Country' or 'Flashback'. Wonder if he knew an Ensign Schrodinger?

There were a few time travel episodes in TNG and DS9 between those events and the flashback. Not only was Valtane killed in the changed timeline, but Tuvok also had smaller ears in the original timeline.

I was thinking this as well. As far as an in universe explanation perhaps she had the holosuite change it? I know clothing is typically brought into the holosuite but I dont think its too much to think the holosuite could do a texture surprise and make the real jersey look different on a surface level.

There's one continuity error that keeps getting missed (it won me a $50 quiz prize at a convention): In Season 6, Episode 6 - "True Q", at about 15 minutes in, Picard is in a room with Crusher, Q, and a young woman just discovering her Q powers. He is wearing the normal command red uniform. Then, 12 seconds later (after the young woman tosses Q across the room), Picard takes Q to his ready room to continue the discussion and he is now wearing his special Captain's casual uniform (the one with the red/black jacket over a grey/black under shirt). These two scenes are supposed to be only minutes apart in real time, but Picard has miraculously changed uniforms.

Another continuity error in the same STVI scene is the fact that the shock wave is supposed to be coming from port, but we see it's from starboard. Everything is reversed.

2:53 Personally, I think the fact that the knife killed Hue at all should also be considered a serious Continuity Error. Granted, he may not have his old borg regenerative abilities but why did you really have too kill Hue? SERIOUSLY!!! I think he should be retconned back in somehow, like he didn't fully die and some how the borg tech or his friends in the cube manage to get him started on a regeneration system that saves his life. Perhaps this group could also be the ones who managed to hide away and find a place in the cube that didn't get vented into space? Realizing something seriously messed up has happen they warn the other Ex-B's and the Ex-B's find a place to hide?

If you're going to pick a Kirk's shirt one, there's one there's funnier, I believe, the blunder on Charlie X, which I call the Batcave effect: Kirk goes in to the elevator with Charlie using his yellow shirt, and comes out to the bridge with his green one.

The big one that drives me crazy is in Star Trek 2009. Kirk is searching for Pike on the Nerada. One scene he's walking down a corridor with the CLEARLY Romulan phaser and in the very next POORLY transitioned scene Kirk is standing around in a big open room with his Starfleet Phaser where he encounters Nero and Ayel.

In the long shot, it is in his left. It shifts between the two a few times. It is extremely obvious

Tellerites are known to be hypersensitive in the fingers, and so (everybody knows) they move their glasses back and forth between their hands to avoid their fingers getting too hot or too cold (depending on the drink). This was detailed in the Star Trek Writer's Manual in 1967, page 743, section 3, subsection 12, paragraph 18. *It's there in black and white* , Robert. Don't you read up on these things before you throw out your malicious claims? 😉

Corbomite Maneuver watch Bones on the bridge about halfway through the episode, he switched from his regular long-sleeved uniform to the short-sleeved surgical version and then back again within a single scene. He did the same thing in Mudd’s Women in the transporter room when the women beam aboard.

4:00 I didn't notice the Valtane shift when I originally watched _Undiscovered Country,_ as I wasn't really paying attention to him. Then right after I saw the _Voyager_ episode "Flashback" I went and watched the scene as shown in _UC_ again, now more focused on Valtane, and spotted the error!

*Excellent* list; I love it when I learn so much from a video. I do have one suggestion, however. When most people think of continuity errors in Star Trek, I think they're thinking of errors across the franchises, or even within a single series. In other words, *writing* or *script* errors. That of course is not at all what this video is about, and yet it is an excellent list. Might I suggest giving this video a different name? Perhaps "Single Episode Continuity Errors", or "Editing Errors", or something like that.

When some franchises get screwed up with send offs with known & beloved characters & films...... like Indiana Jones & the Terminator films, I thought they paid great homage to Picard & the crew, Geordie restoring the original TNG Enterprise was a nice surprise to me, id love a side episode with Geordie with a salvage crew raising the saucer section off the planet surface & being towed to the nearest starbase, then restoring the ship. Then seeing the look on Rikers face when Geordie says to him smugly , "remember when you said she couldn't be salvaged?!

In the TOS episode The Enemy Within, the good Kirk and Spock are searching engineering, looking for the evil. The two Kirks come face to face, and the evil Kirk is holding a (box type) phaser number one, then they briefly cut to good Kirk and back again, and evil Kirk is now holding a (pistol type) phaser number 2. A moment later, and evil Kirk again has a phaser number 1.

When Sybok, Sulu and Uhura enter the bridge, Sulu and Uhura are wearing tan uniforms, the next time the camera pans to them they are wearing red ones. Also Sybok has long hair the entire movie until they land on Sha Ka Ree.

Chekov was probably uncomfortable. Sulu mentioned he still had a couple things in his cabin (all Chekov's personal effects were blown across the former Mutara Nebula) and during the hours (or days if we use the TNG Warp scale) that they were in transit, Chekov ran down and changed. (In addition to everyone stopping by the galley for some food).
