How was it cheating when 99% of the incidents he is citing was in pride/K1. Asia has no stigma about steroids the contracts even said they don't test. Yeah the UFC screwed him with Brock, anyone here think Brock was clean? can we all say DUH

While i can't say anything about crimes he committed, i find his often personality changes normal, at young age, such a success, finding yourself critiqued by everyone in good or bad way, tendency to be good in everyone's eyes can be strong.

@benbutton4193

Mark Hunt didn't change his personality at all. He was pissed that the UFC knowingly let Brock fight on juice and he was starting to notice that 90 percent of his losses came from juicers as they all kept dropping dirty. Also, Hunt was outspoken against the UFC way before he joined their ranks. We didn't get him until he was already past his prime and they had difficulty negotiating with him because he had disliked the organization for years. It was his fan base that wanted him in the UFC. Especially after they added him into the UFC game and he wasn't even on their roster at the time.

Nah I disagree. Mma on point talked about each fighter neutrally. If anything their rhetoric for Hunt in particular was more like they were understanding of his shift as opposed to denouncing it. I think like most men he is battling himself. 'A harmless man is not a good man. A good man is a very dangerous man who has it under control.' -Jordan Peterson To go even deeper I doubt Conor is the same over the top narcissist within his household and if he is it's not constant. I mean who can keep that up 100% of the time? But turn the camera on and he has trouble keeping the beast down. Fame really is the monster in all of these guys. They get this confidence flowing and that's the Jekyll to their hyde. Especially considering how respect is the foundation of all martial arts... Makes khabib seem even more special, to me. He's so solidly grounded in all the correct things that fame has not changed him.

Mark Hunt has my every sympathy. He was a straight up, no shit, no drugs, no dirtiness fighter with a hell of a chin and rocks for fists. @MMAOnPoint
@MMAOnPoint 4 жыл бұрын
I personally don't think that makes sense. I've heard that idea and talk about it in the video. Who has ever been released on a streak? Usually, it's a fighter like Sage that turns down the UFC's offer. Either that or it's in the very early days of Zuffa. Closest I can think of is Jon Fitch, but he even had a couple losses when he was released.

@joecugo The only pay increase he's received that was substantial was his lone title fight with RDA. Looking at his last fight he only made 17k more than his most previous non-title fight, which is completely in line with the pay increases he was already getting. thesportsdaily.com/2018/06/08/colby-covington-career-earnings-fox11/

@@MMAOnPoint This falls in line with some of the reasoning why the title fight hasn't been made with Usman right ? Colby has been in interviews saying that he was passed up and hes ready to fight "#1 contenders", but then on other instances says he calls the shots, needs to get paid like a champion, and that the UFC are screwing him. Colby doesn't even know who he wants to be, and too much riding the fence WILL lead to saying on the bottom and getting ignored. Do you think there is any similarity in the way Nate got on with the UFC in his career to that of Colby ? Problem with Nate is always being in denial about decision losses. Colby is in denial about demoting himself by trying to war with Dana. Thoughts ? Love you guys BTW
@mohammedhussain6749
@mohammedhussain6749 4 жыл бұрын
Colby thinks he should get mcgregor money but doesn’t have the mcgregor draw or skills. To most casual fans his fights are boring and long due him not being able to knockout his opponents but just put pressure on him. He gets title shots but doesn’t take them, seriously, win the title if you’re actually that good then he would have the ability to argue and actually get the desired amount he wants.

Just gets me thinking how ridiculously special Floyd Mayweather is (love him or hate him): Fought 20 years as a pro. Made wayy more money then Connor but Kept the drive for years and years. (He was known as one of hardest workers in boxing his whole career)

To be a top contender like he is you need to dedicate your life to fighting and training. That takes tons of motivation and you need to put yourself in the right mindset every single day and envision the goals you have for yourself everyday. He's had the mindset for a long time. That's why he was a division 1 wrestler. He will always find a way to meet his goals even if it means "selling his soul"

Talented young man being ignored throughout his whole career. He made a decision to make a caricature of himself and now people are talking about him and he's getting paid. I think it's unfortunate that now fighters gain momentum based on how many hits they get on social media. Oh well I just try to ignore all the social media bullshit and just watch the fights.
