surf trips to uncrowded good waves are the hack to getting better. you can surf el porto every day for years and still be intermediate.

honestly true. even paddling out on bad days when it’s not as crowded can help a lot as well. not as good of waves but you get more waves, and can still have some chances at some decent sections and stuff

Thanks for the clips. But if an intermediate surfer could ever surf like this they would be on tour 😅. In my humble opinion, I think what may be more helpful is having clips of good intermediate surfers surfing. Master that first then try to mimic pros (which undoubtedly will be a lost cause but bravo attempt)
