I don't think they liked her in the day, whilst a lot of fans were polarized by her "friends with benefits" relationship with Peter in 2009 - some liked it, some didn't. But both characters are generally well-loved with the right writer, and whilst Mockingbird was tepid (well-written and supported at times, but meh), Cooper was never supported by anyone. Not on any fan site.

And if done correctly and written well, I think it would be really good Still hoping she shows up in the MCU once Venom fails and Sony sells the rights back to Marvel, or Sony cancels the black cat movie and let Marvel use her instead. Which is what I find a lot of people on reddit and other talkative websites want, since they work well together

@@skylerk2516 I find MJ to be a better match story-wise, the guy obsessed with crime fighting fully takes on the persona of a retired man. But with BC I can see it being the one to take up the mantle of a fully grown adult alongside Peter. If written well, of course (flippin Slott and his crime boss shenanigans). As for Kevin James' writing I honestly didn't see the problem with it - I don't think it fit with the character in the day, being so flirtatious with Spidey not long after she had been raped, but I thought her character was well-written in that particular storyline, logic aside.

Yeah that's the point but the problem is so many people (mostly teen girls) look at Joker/Harley and genuinely call it "relationship goals" and romanticise it. I enjoy it as a dynamic that showed multiple facets of the Joker's depravity and made Harley who she is, but there's a reason DC have been distancing themselves from it since the New 52 onwards - people were misinterpreting it as a Bonnie and Clyde "villains in love" story rather than the fact it was supposed to be an abusive and toxic relationship

Now everyone who didn’t know Joker and Harley Quinn, now all think that “they’re the perfect couple” Their relationship is supposed to be messed up. Joker just used her to get out of the asylum and also as a human shield. Their relationship is important because it’s what shapes Harley into what she is now.

angrybrony I've thought about this and while I truly love both women, I think this is why they have moved Dick on from Kory. While they loved each other deeply and were pivotal in one another's growth from youth, at the time of their separation, it felt like there was very little else they could offer each other. Initially it was a relationship of equals that managed to challenge gender roles, fear of commitment, sexual discovery, and self-love, and they truly found themselves. So maybe that was the point, and where it can beautifully end. Not all good things are meant to last and while other relationships and lovers may come into the mix, it's a point of symmetry that Dick ends up with Barbara. She was his first crush (before N52 anyway) and challenges Dick to grow up and become who he was destined, while Starfire allows him to exist in the limbo between adolescence and adulthood. Additionally, Starfire has been on her own and in different team ups in recent years and it seems like they really have grown too far apart to be out back together without some serious changes.

angrybrony I'm not saying we shouldn't ever have Starfire and Dick together, I loved their approx. 20 year run and would love to see more of them in AU's or different mediums, but where their respective stories currently are in continuity and given the fact that it seems they're beyond their first love phase of their lives, realistically it just doesn't seem probable within the mainstream right now. But if the PS4 Arkham VR was a one-shot outside of the games' continuity, maybe they'll be together in the next rumored Arkham game, who knows? It all had alot to do with the bat office meddling in the comics. Besides nightwing and starfire married had a son jake Grayson recently in the nightwing new order series. Starfire will aways be nightwing's love interest. It's only different in the comics because nightwing as a solo series with the bat brand and starfire is too much of a cosmic character to fit in batman's world.

Fans hated it back in the day, and is one of the reasons why their break up happened in Spectacular Spider-Man 100. They are kind to it now, because the next generation of readers have picked up those books with a fresh look and have praised the coupling. It should also be said that fans wanted MJ gone from the books in the 1970's, that coupling those two was ruining the dynamic she had as the independent bird she was in the 1960's, and because Marvel wanted her gone as well there ended that relationship.

For the Spidey and Black Cat pairing....I dunno, I honestly think that the Peter/Spidey and Mary Jane shippers/couplers are too spoiled and catered to. With Spidey and Black Cat, the dynamic is a lot more like Batman and Catwoman than that disastrous and nonsensical Supes and WW pairing. Spidey and Black Cat do have actualy chemistry, chemistry that was never forced, and was given years to develop over the course of the comics. At this point, I'd argue that Spidey and Black Cat is almost as much of a viable pairing as Spidey and Mary Jane. In certain respects, it's even better, because the former pairing actually affords a romantic relationship mixed with being partners in crimefighting. There's a lot of potential there that has been barely tapped due to certain thick-headed fans saying 'NO, PETER'S MEANT TO BE WITH MARY JANE, END OF STORY, THAT'S HOW IT'S GOTTA BE, FUCK YOU FOR THINKING OTHERWISE.' I'd be fine if Marvel writers did a one-off exploring this and culminating in that one-off having Felicia and Peter marrying, but I really think there's something worth going into with this pairing.

Beyond 2.0 is not a canon comic. It's a DCAU tie-in comic. Kyle even said it just another season of DCAU's Beyond, but in comic form. When DC Comics made Terry and Beyond canon, it did not include Beyond 2.0. So, there is Beyond 1.0 DCAU (WB produced), Beyond 2.0 DCAU comic tie-in (WB produced), and the Beyond (DC Comics produced). And when DC Comics made Beyond canon, they took out the Babs and Bruce romantic/sexual angle. It did not happen, and DC Comics does not recognize them ever being together.

I loved Superman and Wonder Woman together, it could be written to be a great love story in the comics with right writer. I liked seeing their relationship develop in the animated Justice league movies War and the others. It showed that their relationship could be tender and it gave them both a since of normalcy. I equal love Spiderman and Black Cat relationship, it just needs to be developed and written to be interesting. I hope people open up to Superman having another lasting relationship other than Lois Lane, it's played out. If Fans open up their minds and hearts to the idea , Wonder Woman and Superman can have a strong and well developed relationship, that brings about interesting stories for fans to enjoy. I think it's because Diana has no "iconic" love interest other than Steve Trevor who in multiple continuities was dead at some point, so any time she spends a significant amount of time around a man people (including a lot of DCs writers) assume she must be attracted to them and them to her. It won't ever happen long term because Lois and Selina are the most popular love interests for Clark and Bruce respectively by a mile, but even after the WW movie Steve Trevor doesn't have the same pop culture clout as Lois Lane or Catwoman so they'll continue to do crappy teases with Bruce/Diana and Clark/Diana to cause tension/drama (I mean they did it literally last month in the current Batman run where he's engaged to Catwoman)

Yes, but even as an ex, Joker's relationship with Harley was part of her character. (Ivy can't stand her tendency to dote on him.) My issue with this entry is the whole "fans hated" part of the title. Harley--however well she works without Joker--was still created to be Joker's girlfriend, and fans didn't hate the relationship. I think far less people were pissed off by Wonder Woman and Superman than this video states. Long before the post-Crisis reimagining of Superman, his character was defined by his unwillingness to date a human girl--partially because he didn't want villains to threaten his family, partially because he was too powerful to be compatible with a non-superpowered person. So the question "why wouldn't he marry Wonder Woman?" always floated in discussion amongst fans. That's a huge part of why he starts dating her at the end of Kingdom Come. Fans weren't upset with the concept of those two dating, just the execution in the new 52.

Well first, it seems the idea that Superman evolved from the "angry alien you can't trust" (bad idea), to something closer to what we know, and that's why his relationship with Lois in New 52 was just platonic, clearly intended to change. Yes, before that it was a dramatic resource that Clark and Lois could get physical, but not conceive a child because of their different physiologies. Some writer would have found a way to remedy that if post-Crisis Continuity had remained. Now, as for Kingdom Come, Lois had died when the Joker attacked the Daily Planet, Lana Lang was pretty much out of the picture, and the story leads to Clark and Diana getting together clearly. There was barely anyone else and he had spent the time mourning Lois before he came back, and indeed before Diana herself brought him back. But that doesn't mean they should end up together, and they won't as long as there is a Lois in the Continuity. Let's get real.

God Tim Drake and Babs in Arkham Knight is worse that a lot of people think. Not only is it creepy because in the Animated Series he was like 11 and she was in her mid 20's but her personal DLC Episode "A Matter of Family" created a huge plot hole. In the Arkham Universe Jason "died" 6 months before Asylum and Oracle had been crippled a few years before Asylum and Tim Drake started out as Robin 6 months before Arkham City. But this DLC takes place before Babs got crippled yet Tim Drake is the Robin? So in other words WB made this DLC to try and push/ make sense of an extremely stupid pairing (considering in the comics beforehand Dick and Babs were already a thing)

Suicide Squad made me hate the Joker and Harley relationship, DC tried to hard to make it a full fledged relationship when hardcore comic fans know that's not the relationship we know. I will admit there were times Joker did kill for Harley out of jealousy. Take the Joker comic back in 2008 by Brian Azzarello where he skinned a man alive for whoring up Harley. Hank Pym Skrull and Tigra have a baby. Hank Pym and Espirita. She feels sorry for him because he is about to commit suicide. She also feels God led her to him. Spider-man and Mocking Bird. I just hate this while Hawkeye is still around. The whole She Hulk and Man-Wolf thing. They got together and seemed like a good couple until she thought she might be under the control of Starfox whose power is making people amorous for each other. She sues Starfox. Sam Wilson (Falcon) and Misty Knight. I like her with Iron Fist.

I actually like Black Cat and Spidey. If Spider-Man had a definitive finish, you know that’s not who he’s going to end up with, but having an on again off again relationship is really interesting, especially since they have tonnes of chemistry and it’s someone who can relate to him on the super hero/villain level. Also no couple revivals Green Arrow and Black Canary

I love wonder-women and I love superman but I was not excited about their relationship. It was to easy and predictable. It does seem like it would make the most sense but then that would be boring. Besides wonder women with Steve roger and Superman with Lois lane are iconic.

Wonder woman and Steve Rogers aren't even in the same universe why are they even a pairing but I don't mind it I just don't see DC and marvel linking especially not the characters.
