If I told you that you are actually a Latin because you live in a region which was previously part of the Roman Empire, you would be furious, right? Stop promoting nonsense! We are a Latin people! Our language is Latin, this is why we learn Italian, French and Spanish much faster than others. Yes, we have strong Slavic influence, which is normal considering our position in Europe, but to say that we are Slavic is utter rubbish

@@nebojisatomic1681 you are now gonna tell me you know old Romanian and I don't! Do you even know any Romanian languabe, budy? The oldest text in Romanian is "Scrisoarea lui Neacșu". Although it is written with the Cyrillic alphabet, the language is still Latin. I also read books in old Romanian while I was a student. Bad news for you and everyone who promotes your ideas - the language there is also Latin! I don't need to go and work in Italy, I worked three times in Germany and now I make good money in my own country.

@@nebojisatomic1681 Look, buddy, I can write an Italian or Spanish or French text with Cyrillic letters and that will not make the text a Slavic one. In Soviet time Moldovans in the so called Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic were forced by the bloody Soviets to write with Cyrillic characters and that did not make their language (which is actually Romanian) a Slavic one. Yes, we used for centuries the Cyrillic alphabet since we are Orthodox just like Greeks, Russians or Serbs but that still does not mean we are Slavic. The Poles, the Czechs, the Slovaks, the Croats, the Slovenes use the Latin alphabet and that does not make them anything else but Slavs. So using the Latin alphabet doesn't make you automatically a Latin, and using the Cyrillic alphabet does not make you automatically a Slav!
