the craziest thing ive ever witnessed in dark souls.... i was streaming dark souls 3, i had to run to the bathroom after a hard earned checkpoint (i think it was the fort bonfire in the swamp) and i left the game unpaused (because of course you cant pause its darksouls.) and when i came back one of my five viewers told me i was invaded and they saw i was AFK and so they left me an item and then Disconnected. upon picking up the item i found it to be an Ember (which is a somewhat common but still significant item.) i forget the name of the invader that chat said it was, BUT to whoever spared the life of "Frank The Tank" on that day thank you for being considerate of an AFK player.

I saw someone in DS3 who was invaded by a cheater who had infinite health, and he was killed by the host who recorded it all. He was just past the Pontiff and lured the cheater over to the massive ladder down to Aldritch's covenant, and then using messaging he distracted the cheater long enough to kick him off the ledge. It took around an hour for it to work.

Relatively mundane, but on my first run, I thought the second bell of awakening was on the bottom of the catacombs, then the tomb of the giants, so after the first bell, I descended down into their depths, and fought all the way until I got to the bonfire. Then, after exhausting everything down there, I caved, and went to check on the web where the hell the bell was down there, and to learn if there were any easier way back up. It wasn't there at all, and there was not, since at this point in the game, you're expected to have teleportation. Thus, I was tuck with two options. Get so Good I could get all the way to the entrance(I didn't know of the second hidden catacombs bonfire) in one go withouth dying with a relatively low level, or restart the game. Needless to say, I got good. It took me a literal day to do, but finally I managed to claw my way up past every single horrible Skelton the game had to throw at me, and I reached the sunlight once more. Worst experience I've had in any game ever, but Holy shit I felt good when I got back up.

I just had this exact experience last week! Ventured all the way down just to find i needed the lord vessel to fight nito first anyway, so had to claw my way back up. Without finding a light source until after the whole patches ordeal. what a nightmare! Praise the sun meant so much more to me after the ascension, i swear. haha

Cheatle Durp you can use lightning blade and not be a miracle build, it's nigh impossible to hit people sunlight spear unless you use steady chant for a trade which is rather easy to avoid after you learn what they are doing. Lightning arrow was in the ring city dlc so it doesn't count cuz it was after the meme was already planted.

Invade low level people with high end gear that you obtained by going through the entire game at SL13 with no upgraded weapons and killing all bosses (including DLC), obtain all Estus, dress as a Firekeeper, drop items for people to help them out (and only kill them quickly if they attack you) to feel good about yourself. Demon Prince takes like 20 minutes with the Dark Hand by the way. Not 20 minutes of attempts: 20 minutes for the final, successful attempt.

Oooooooh man this is my favorite story So. Bloodborne. I was playing it and fighting the Moon Prescence, and it was going downhill a little. And when I finally ran out of Blood Vials while he was still at half health, he reduced me down to one hit point. And I beat his ass. I still to this day have no idea how I managed to do it. I somehow, with a single hit point and no blood vials, managed to defeat the final boss of Bloodborne. It was... pretty damn incredible. It's my proudest Dark Souls accomplishment to date and will probably remain that way.

Considering that most senior citizens I know don't like gaming at all or like being reminded of their mortality, there's plenty strange/funny about it. Especially remembering how slow and defeated my grandmother was before she died, it was depressing. This guy is older than she was and seems to have an ironic sense of dark humor about it.

I think it's the fact that they are reminded of their mortality. A younger person CAN NOT think about mortality the way and older person thinks about mortality (actually maybe if you're terminally ill). As you get older you start to think differently about things you once did and didn't, sex, girls (or older women), cartoons, candy, toys, your future... and I don't mean your career and family, I mean your grand kids and funeral arrangements. To be smacked with "YOU DIED" on a constant basis at an age most people don't reach, I imagine, only reminds someone 'Tomorrow could be the day'. I think it would be the equivalent of some feeling one gets playing Russian Roulette.

I have seen a person beat Lord Gwyn to death in his skin suit, with his bare fists on SL 1. All while "The Final Countdown" was playing in the background. It was pretty epic. I was both amazed, and ashamed because I cant beat Gwyn without parry-cheesing him to death. Gwyn, and Darkeater Midir were the banes of my exhistance for the Souls series.

The craziest I've experienced was DS3 where I beat the game on he first time, with barely any invasions I was a bit shocked and confused that no one had ever even invaded me, then in Bloodborne where for the fight with the two hunters down in the old town, I called 4 different ppl and they all committed suicide .... after that I just beat the game pretty much solo since I saw no use in allies .... till the final fight when for the first time I actually found a player for coop ....

Actually the hardest part about this run for me personally was not to go and sit near a bonfire on a muscle memory. Because "ooh, bonfire!" *sits*. I did this run after "no death run" and didn't have problems dying. Only died once in the black gulch, just fell down like a noob. But i failed several times because i couldn't resist sistting at damn bonfire lel

I dunnow if this counts as my own experience, since I watched someone do it, but I once saw someone disguising himself as an enemy in the game and taking said enemy's place to troll invaders. It actually worked, even after changing his location once in a while during the same invasion. The invader and him crossed paths multiple times and he kept trolling the invader by doing the "Hello" thing, and the invader didn't know where it was comming from.

From Software and Bandai Namco only have two modes of ant-cheat innitiative. 1. Absolutely nothing, ignorant bliss. And, 2. Overzealous inquisition. The later was really bad in Dark Souls II. I got softbanned after using a saveeditor to restore my game after a hacker ruined it. Got invaded, he lag backstabbed me, and this teleported us to Majula where they were able to kill ALL my NPC's, with only exception being the laddersmith and Saulden. I restored my save (my first time ever doing so) and was softbanned sometime within the next week. The worst part? My friends who weren't softbanned were still plagued by this hacking guy for 2-3 months afterwards.

It was my payday. I was in a local video game store when I noticed dark souls, it has just gotten released. "Hmm, a nice little rpg, I'm buying this." So it was in my backpack and I went drinking and partying. The next morning, hungover as shit, I inserted the disc and thought "its gonna be a nice hangover with a new game, food and weed and stuff." About an hour later I was crying. Didn't play it again for nearly six months. To this day I have not beaten it. My problem with the series is that I play the games way past halfway and then get so frustrated that I take a break which can last from week to a year and then I cant remember what the hell I was doing and I have to start all over again.

Henri Lokka well I feel you man, but keep trying once you start understanding the game it's freaking amazing. Try watching videos like analysis video or dark souls lore. The game is not that hard to beat but it's punishing and because of that when you beat that boss it's freaking rewarding and it is what makes dark souls what it is and there's so much more to this game. You should do a little research 1 or 2 quality video should be enough you might fall in love with the series. It's a game worth playing and you should probably start with ds 2

Full size, relative to my height (6' 3"). The blades are densely extruded insulation foam, the staffs are made of 1.5" round banister railing, the headpieces and pommels are made of stacked and glued ash wood planks. I may or may not do a clear cast of the small blade and light it with some spare rgb led strips I have laying around, this way the blade can be blue and look more magical than some blue painted foam. The large scythe is going to be roughly 7.5' and the small one roughly 4.5'.

The Elderly of Japan are truly amazing, to be able to play a game like the Souls series around the age of 80. This video in general is quite the show, the leather worker, the untouchable and the multi controller gamer are the other 3 that I really appreciated. Me personally, I am primarily a non-pvper but this serious helped me confront that. When you see videos of people really dedicated to builds, showing their stuff in PvP to music covers, the games really shine. I did however get the most out of Demons Souls as I beat that 3 times and none of the rest. I also wanna mention that one gamer that made a video wearing that Preditor-like armor and using similar weapons to the original with awesome editing too.!:)
