Why keep a chipmunks as a pet when you can make friends with them right in your yard? They will befriend you as long as you have food for them. You do not need to entrap or keep them in enclosures! They take care of themselves and are quite friendly!

One of my three garden chipmunks showed up one day with only half a tail! Since we have a neighborhood fox, we figure the fox caught him, but only by his tail, poor little guy. Since then, we have noticed his tail seems to be re-growing, though it is not so handsome and has a funny kink in it where it is growing out. Will it grow back entirely?
