What gets me is that they have no clue what is the package they are stealing. They don't know if it is a belt for my record player and some vitamins, or anything. Most things I get are just not going to be something of much interest to other people I wouldn't think. It is just such a crazy crime that really has brought out the true nature of the people that live all around us. I have only had one package that was possibly stolen from my porch. It showed as being delivered. It was just a t-shirt that I bought to support a KZbinr with a very specific saying on the shirt. About 5 months later it was put on my porch opened and unused in the original packaging. I am guessing they figured they couldn't really wear it since it was such a specific saying on the shirt that it would be easily recognized by me if they were wearing it in the neighborhood. But of course it could have just been delivered to the wrong house and they didn't notice it was not for them until they opened it and just took a long time to give it to me. But that is the only time I have had a problem with potential theft of my packages.

@@opensage01 Your totally right , I remember back in the seventies ( yea I’m old as dirt ) while I was in city collage in Sacramento ( yes I was poor too ) our phycology class bright there garbage from hone , to class , and wrapped all of it as Christmas gifts , for a class project ! Well , we placed about 40 presents in the back of unlocked cars , and pickup trucks , around the campus ! Then the class hid in different locations , and waited !Well every gift ( of trash ) was stolen within 2 hours ! And to top it off , 4 teachers was seen helping themselves to the gifts ! Well we all got an A on our semester report card , since that was our quarter project ! Funny shit , but true as hell ! And that was fifty years ago ! So porch pirates are here to stay !

There was a guy who robbed a liquor store. He wanted all the money out of the till. He then decided to take a bottle of booze too. The cashier said she needed to see some I.D. for the booze. The thief showed the cashier his I.D. to prove he was over 21, then took the money and the booze and left. The cashier told the police the guys name and address from the I.D. lol.

The idiot posted a photo of himself siphoning gas out of a police car that was parked right in front of the police station in the middle of the day while he was flipping off someone. I don't know if or how he took that picture or if someone else took it and sent it to him. Nevertheless, the idiot himself posted that photo on Facebook. #8. The Toyota Yaris. Several years ago, we rented a car from Enterprise. It was supposed to be a six cylinder, full size car. Instead, the brought us a Toyota Yaris, didn''t even have a radio in it. Instead of sending it back, my husband was so upset and we were already running late, so all the way to our destination and back, my husband cussed out Enterprise. We never rented from them again. That car was a piece of work, but it was great on gas. Everything was a nightmare.,

My father once told me about a drug addict who was paid to burn somebody's house down so the person could collect on their homeowners insurance. He left the gas can in the middle of the floor and it was determined to be arson. Then a 10k reward was offered for tips to bring the perpetrator to the police. The drug addict heard bout the 10k and got the bright idea to try to collect the money by telling that he was the one who burnt it down. He really thought he was entitled to the reward money.
