Did you ever brine pork chops in jalapeno rings juice ? I throw a couple of the rings (none if you don't want heat) in with the juice and I add some salt & pepper and about two table spoons of my regular cooking oil. . I brine for 2 to 8 hours. Cathy, I love how your recipes are simple and attractive. I have found that I don't really like following recipes. it's a lot of work for just the two of us, but I am finding some of your recipes are simple enough that I'll use them every day. 2024: I bought a new air fryer, the new Gormia @ Costco, and I love it. I'm using it 3 to 5 times a day

Just found you. I don’t have an air fryer on its own like you do. I have a Breville Smart Oven which has an air fry option as well as a Ninja Foodi 9 in 1 that air fries as well. I tend to use my Breville exclusively unless I’m pressure cooking first such as a whole chicken. PC first and brown it up with the AF option. GREAT way to do a chicken. However, that said, your recipes look like a LOT of fun and yummy ! I’ll be using that air fryer even more now ! I have subscribed and can’t wait to see all your other AF recipes ! I might have to do a marathon in watching our videos ! Thanks SO much for this ! You’re great ! Explanations are easy, to the point without a bunch of rhetoric. Perfect ! Onto more videos ! Even if I hadn’t got into air frying, your posts are so informative and entertaining. I see you have made some posts with the Instant Pot. Many of your recipes can be cooked with the air fryer and the Instant Pot. I wonder if you have a preference and why? You must be a very busy lady!

As far as what I post on KZbin, the KZbin Gods prefer sharing my air fryer recipes over the instant pot ones.😆 I also had a hard time finding excellent air fryer content on KZbin, so I decided I'd enjoy helping to fill that void. :) On a personal level. I use both my instant pot and air fryer multiple times a week! And sometimes, both for the same meal! :)

You are delightful and a really good teacher. I bought AF at Aldi for $35 with only potatoes in mind. I bake potatoes in toaster oven and wondering how they will taste in AF. I am vegan and do not use much oil but the woman in Aldi told me she does not use oil but uses seasoned salt. Experimenting tonite, thanx for your encouraging ideas.

@@empoweredcooks surprisingly good but the basket is too small I had to make 3 batches just for me and took too long. I will look into the one you like and take the Aldi one back. I didnt use oil either but then I am conditioned to not use much oil, I will add oil next time to see how it goes but probably apply later like I do with baked toaster oven potatoes.
