These look great! One thing I'd quite like to see is if you just took a small sip and gave us some tasting notes so we know what kind of feeling we'd be getting from the cocktail. From a lot of these, you can tell by the ingredients how it will taste, but it's still nice to have a practiced palette explain it to us a bit.
@TrufflesOnTheRocks4 жыл бұрын
Well if you pay attention, I did my best to explain what the drinks were at the beginning of each without having to do the tasting notes at the end so you have an idea of what the drink will taste like. Otherwise video would have been at least 5 minutes longer which I believe is just too long. I usual do tasting notes but really didn’t think it was necessary in this case. Hope you’ll forgive me 😆

Is the Hemingway daiquiri a consider a Tiki cocktail?
@TenaciousTimGaming4 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say so.
@TrufflesOnTheRocks4 жыл бұрын
I’d say no. Tiki is a category that didn’t have that name when tiki drinks arose. When « tiki » cocktails were created by Don the beachcomber, he called them the Rhum Rapsody cocktails, not Tiki and they were Polynesians inspired flavour rum cocktails. So Hemingway Daiquiri is a Cuban drink and not a Polynesian drink. And it is just a simple one spirit cocktail, no blend, unusual modifiers... so I wouldn’t say it is a Tiki. IMO
