I love the pyramid of needs converted for beauty. A lot of people prioritize in the reverse order and suffer from low self esteem and being unwell but think if they achieve an aesthetic it will fix everything. It doesn’t work.

Thank you Haley! I really appreciate your videos 🎀💋 And I love the fact that you always promote a “healthy and natural look” than something else 💕 You are so gorgeous 🥺💖 I love you Haley 🤍

I love this Haley ❤ this concept of not just to look better but to feel better and thus ultimately BE better. So true from the first tip regarding looking in the mirror! I remember I saw a short TikTok/YT short video that simply said if you want smaller pores stop looking so closely in the mirror! Obviously yes everyone has different skin and yes we can do things to improve our skin, but basically I think it’s safe to say looking close in the mirror and trying to poke or prod at our skin is NOT going to be that thing that fixes it, and your skin probably is not as bad off as you believe it is when you’re staring up close in the mirror. Just do the self care you can, but don’t partake in unhealthy habits mentally or physically that can be careLESS toward yourself and skin! Thank you for posting a video that promotes feeling good from inside out and not always from the reverse ❤

Hi Haley! I’ve been a viewer of your videos for years and I always turn to you when I need advice for makeup, as someone who doesn’t do her makeup often and feels overwhelmed by everything that you need to know before starting it. I noticed that your hair game is also on point and I’d love you to make hair videos for beginners about everything you know (hair care, hairstyles, etc), even if you never took a class or whatever. I just like the way you break down and explain things, as well as your values of promoting natural beauty. I’m sure it’d be helpful for many, who are beginners in all things beauty. Thanks!

Thank you for your tips.. I really like your tutorial and your mindset to embrace your beauty. I have breakout when pandemic. Truly long journey before my skin getting better, and i really learn to be patient cause it really take time (2,5 years) to getting better. That was when i seldom using makeup because i don't want to aggravate my acne. Honestly its hard to love my self that time and i was so insecure when i saw myself in the mirror with full acne but can't really hide it with makeup, so i just seldom look ny self in the mirror for my mental health. Now my skin is better, i realize that seldom looking at mirror really help and my acne journey really set my mindset about beauty. Now i really like my bareface skin even though there few post acne hiperpigmentation. I seldom put makeup and if i must i just put simple makeup like you. I really like the look and it good for my skin especially for my profession that must use mask for most of the time 😆😆

I think these tips work for some people but not others. But the goals are more univerally what one could work towards to have a more fulfilling life like feeling good about oneself and such. For example I more often think positively of myself when I look in the mirror so it doesn't ruin my mental health to do so, and I can't put a towel on my satin pillowcase because it would mess up my hair and tangle it bc its not straight hair, changing the pillowcase a few times a week works better for me anyways. But I am glad content creators are emphasizing mental and physical health not just makeup and skincare

you know if you’re using an active cleanser, dr shireen Idris recommended that you don’t massage it so much as leave it on the face for a little bit and then wash it off, so the actives have some time to stay on your face and work better, she even recommended to keep it on for as long as 1-2 minutes once a week

Thank you so much Hayley! 💖 I found your channel recently and you have been such an inspiration to me ☺️ I didn’t know you used to struggle with the same thing I do, which is the skin picking when I look closely in the mirror at night and begin to obsess over my imperfections which like you said makes your skin and mental health so much worse. I love that you focus on natural beauty and loving yourself as the most important thing ☺️ I am slowing starting to see improvement in my skin and I will definitely try these tips as well, thank you so much for sharing! Much love ❤️❤️❤️

I have two pillows and just switch which sides every few days. Four clean surfaces a week until I do laundry. I also sleep with a silk scarf on my hair and use one very light hair product daily. I shampoo weekly and all the other days cowash. This has all helped my face, and hair, tremendously.

Hi, Haley! On October, I will have my graduation, so I have plan to getting my makeup done with a makeup artist. It's quite pricey for me. Because I don't want to waste the money. Can you give some tips what do I have to ask from her? I am a newbie for makeup to so it's hard to have a question list except for choosing the right shade for my undertone. Thank you. And fun fact I will choose you as my inspo graduation makeup. Really can't wait to see the result!! If you want to continue this conversation, kindly check your email❤
