Best video on this subject. Wished it was two tall trash cans though instead of just one.

The cabinet might be deep enough to put 2 cans, 1 infront of the 2nd.

OK, Ron. My spouse has been watching you. Now I have a list of "Ron's" to do, Thanks. I have enjoyed watching your how to's and getting new toys to complete her list. Keep up the good work, and keep the ideas coming.

The final scene shows a blocking the upper drawer front is attached to because it extends above the bin box. I also see a piece between the upper front and the lower front. It looks like when you set your base down and lined it up with the back of the face frame, you now had a gap the thickness of the face frame to fill! Nice plan, however. I just started measuring and planning for mine.

Ron your giving me a lot of skills with opportunities. I'll never learn as much as you know. I've done a lot of projects for family, friends & neighbors by word of mouth with a little $ earned. Thank you for all you do. Retired now. Diye'r now (:-)

I would think I'd want the back without a panel, or a big hole cut out and it for easy cleaning when things fall inside that box. It would make it easier to clean.

Could you have just attached the sliders right to the can holder instead of building another box?

Yeah I think an entire box was a little extra 😅

Where would you attache the slides to the cabinet, without the box? The bottom? There are no side walls between each door opening.

Ron, you have a nice place there in CT. They don't let you compost? It seems a waste to throw veggie scraps in the dust bin.

Ron. Do you know the difference between a drill & a screw gun, impact driver? You don't strip out your screws using the correct Tool! I'm still waiting for your answer about the Tankless cost over a tank style? Do you just ignore people who ask the hard questions?

I can answer your water heater question: If only 2 people, go with a 50-80 gallon tank (unless cost is no object) If 4 or more, consider a tankless... But - Most people don't consider capacity and incoming water temp. Cold winter water takes a LOT more energy to heat. And when you get a large enough tankless unit to cover capacity for 4 (or more) people with COLD water, price can EASILY exceed 4x the cost of a quality 100-150 gallon tank. That's a LOT of hot water!! AND - Newer tanks (even electric) are FAR more efficient today than older ones. Don't get caught up in the hype... tankless is NOT the holy grail it's sometimes portrayed as... especially if you look at REAL WORLD data.
